Front desk was on point….busy, chatty, receptive and respectful. Wait time was minimal to be brought into the room. Every member of the team was attentive and genuine. Dr was very easy going and realistic. I’m a talker and joker and it was all received and appreciated where some places give the vibe of “ok that’s enough let’s stay on track and get you out of here”. Definitely felt like a human being and not just a number or client. Glad I came in for the consult

My son has been seen here since an infant. He is 12 now. Patient care has definitely declined since we first started but we really love the doc! They canceled a sleep study on us and I rescheduled. I had to reschedule the make-up appointment with over 24 hours notice. Now, they will not reschedule my son due to the “reschedules.” Front desk manager was not kind at all. When I told her the original reschedule was canceled by them and asked further questions of why we are being denied, she said “find another place” and hung up on me. Really disappointed and quite shocked!

Genuinely the worst clinic of any kind that I’ve ever been to. Was referred by primary care doctor who insisted the place was great, but we had nothing but bad experiences. Staff is slow-witted and often rude, and cannot seem to do more than the absolute bare minimum for their job. Apparently incapable of operating a fax machine. Also blatantly lied to us about insurance policies, and just sort of shrugged after being called out. I’m aware this isn’t always the employees’ fault, but still worth mentioning that they would frequently keep us in the waiting room for 10-20 minutes for appointments that ended up taking less than 10 minutes. I had to do multiple overnight sleep studies and MSLTs, and we were told I could stay on my medications and they would interpret the results knowing I was

Dr. George Zriekat truly deserves every bit of a 5-star review! From the moment I walked into the sleep clinic, I felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Zriekat is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to really listen and understand your concerns. He explained everything about the sleep study process in a way that was easy to understand, which made me feel completely at ease. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was also wonderful, but Dr. Zriekat’s attention to detail and genuine care really stood out. Thanks to him, I finally have answers and a clear path to better sleep and overall health. If you’re looking for a doctor who truly cares and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Dr. George Zriekat. Exceptional experience fr

Staff is very rude. I was blamed for them canceling the last two appointments we had virtually when they never showed for them. I have done everything they asked. When calling an hour before his appointment they said you will receive the text message closer to the appointment time he’s still on the schedule we never got that text and the time before they just never showed we sat and waited for ever for nobody. I called trying to figure out what is going on and was treated like crap by the lady on the phone. Where she sat and was playing the blame game on me. Additionally when calling in a script for my son they would not help me get something covered by his insurance. This place has been rude every time I have gone in there. My child is on the spectrum. They treated him with no respect wha

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Mid Michigan Center for Sleep Disorders
What does Mid Michigan Center for Sleep Disorders do?
Mid Michigan Center for Sleep Disorders is a sleep medicine clinic in Grand Blanc, MI that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Mid Michigan Center for Sleep Disorders?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Mid Michigan Center for Sleep Disorders directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Mid Michigan Center for Sleep Disorders?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Mid Michigan Center for Sleep Disorders?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
