Absolutely horrible customer service after waiting several weeks for them to do their job. I had to contact them to have him get approval from my insurance which was already done.. Had to contact them to set up an appointment at which time the appointment did go well and the girl was pleasant. Finally decent customer service.. However, my machine promptly died after an hour as it was not charged, and then in calling in the next day, only to find out they only occasionally clean them. Spoke with a supervisor Joanne, who is the one that told me they occasionally cleaned them and that they are supposed to charge them but they don’t always get done. Great job horrible horrible company to work with.

I cannot understand how this place even gets reviews as it's obvious to me that they do not want any business. I called my insurance provider three weeks ago to see if I required a referral for a sleep study and they confirmed that my plan DID NOT require one. I then immediately called EZ Sleep Club to schedule an appointment. The agent instructed me to have my PCP fax over a referral for the study. I informed the agent that my insurance provider just confirmed that one was not required but the agent said that even though a referral wasn't required by my insurance, EZ preferred one so that they could have easy access to my medical records. I then immediately messaged my doctor’s office requesting the referral. When I called EZ Sleep back the following week they indicated that they ha

Robert R. @the Modesto Location was so helpful! I honestly I appreciate how attentive and comforting he was. Not only did we share some good conversations he also made me feel safe which allowed me to sleep well. The facility was super clean, rooms were at a nice temperature, there was a fan if necessary, even a tv, and a night light. I was able to ask for help whenever I needed or even to change the temperature. You will be hooked up to a lot of wires but I still got decent sleep. Again shoutout to Robert R.!

I just had my sleep study, I enjoyed my experience, as a RN I understand making everyone happy is hard to do, but my staff was very wonderful and welcoming, id read previous reviews, and I'd have to disagree with the one who said the place was dirty and had old furniture, I found the place welcoming, they use their resources well, it's not the Ritz, but very cozy. Thank you for a welcoming experoence

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about EZ Sleep Club

What does EZ Sleep Club do?

EZ Sleep Club is a sleep medicine clinic in Modesto, CA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at EZ Sleep Club?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact EZ Sleep Club directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at EZ Sleep Club?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at EZ Sleep Club?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
