Dr. Core and his team have been instrumental in getting my TMJ under control. I've been a longtime sufferer and added stress from the last year exasperated my symptoms, causing me to seek treatment. I was looking for a non-invasive solution and am grateful I found Dr. Core, who worked with my insurance and fitted me with a dental appliance. This treatment has definitely improved my quality of life. Thank you, Dr Core and everyone at Core Sleep Solutions.

I am extremely happy with the dental appliance Dr Core gave me for my sleep apnea. I am no longer snoring (and I snored very loudly) and I feel great during the day. My husband is also very happy since I am not snoring and keeping him awake! Dr. Core is very caring and thorough. Thank you Dr. Core, you are the best!

This is one dentist I look forward to my appointments. The appliance Dr. Core invented works so well for me. I'm able to sleep comfortably all night never getting tangled in masks and hoses or having to travel with a cpap device. The office is friendly, clean and kind. I have been using my mouthpiece for over 2 years. I just visit every 6 months for slight adjustments. I needed some extra visits because my basset hound thought it should be her chew toy. They were able to recast the chewed portion and I was back to a restful night's sleep. Dr. Core's staff are all long term and well trained. Even the dentist "chairs" are so comfortable. you would like one in your own home. Dr. Core is mild mannered with a generous laugh yet professional and respected. Anyone using a cpap device s

Love Dr. Core and staff everyone is friendly and professional. They have worked to make my new Herbst Oral Appliance fit perfectly! I no longer require a cumbersome CPap machine which I desperately needed but stopped us wing after a few months; it does me no good in the closet. I also liked the fact that conduct the sleep study at home. I highly recommend Dr. Core and Core Sleep Solutions - Nubia

This is very long overdue! Dr. Core is amazing doctor and a expert in his field. I went into the office with jaw issues and injury and he was able to get me back to normal and even in better shape than before the injury. The entire process was long but was very worth it. The entire staff is also great there. All I can say is make sure to be vocal on your needs but also listen to what the recommendations are and treatment plan.

Common services at sleep clinics include diagnostic sleep studies, CPAP titration (finding the right air pressure), follow-up therapy adjustments, and treatment planning for insomnia and other sleep disorders. What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Core Sleep Solutions
What does Core Sleep Solutions do?
Core Sleep Solutions is a sleep medicine clinic in Phoenix, AZ that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Core Sleep Solutions?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Core Sleep Solutions directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Core Sleep Solutions?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Core Sleep Solutions?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
