Really pleased with the service that has been provided! I am a new CPAP user and they have been so patient with me and have explained everything in detail. The respiratory therapist has been wonderful! I needed a new mask as my mask I chose just wasn’t for me/uncomfortable and they got me in the next day after I called. Got a new mask that is much better. Very happy with Sleep Valley!

Only leaving one star here because i get got lower. Went for an at home sleep study. The first vist was a money grab for the copay, I was asked a total of 5 questions all of which were on the pre visit paperwork. This ring was not there so i had to drive there again to puck it up. I dropped it off on a Monday. On Wednesday i was asked for a review-and said the same thing i am saying here and was told a supervisor would reach out. Now five days later i still have not results nor a reachout from anyone. Would never recommend this buisness. A manager reached out today after this review of course. I mossed the call and called back within five min naturally was busy and was said would call back i guess maybe another day wow great customer service

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy. The staff is not only extremely rude. They genuinely shouldn't work around people especially in a health field. Carley is the worse of the worse. I hope these people never receive the care they give. Also expect this whole process to take 7 plus months from your 1st call to schedule, to when you get your results. Edited: Myra called me the day after I posted this review and helped me get in sooner. Genuinely cared that I was treated so bad. She is the reason this place is getting 3 instead of the original 1 star.

Took 4 months to schedule, inquired as to cost and such. Was told 50 buck copay. Came in and paid the 50 bucks. Had a 5 minute chat with the NP who said yes i could do a home sleep study. It be a app and a watch i wear. At check out they tell me it be a 200 fee to download the app and take the watch home for the sleep study. My insurance said their should be no cost for a home sleep study. Got a feeling this place just will give anyone a diagnosis to see their items

This practice is terrific for helping me manage my care. Dr Sahni is smart and empathetic; her office staff are capable and friendly. Those who manage the text messages are helpful with updates. And, Krystelle is excellent at managing insurance matters. I couldn’t be more pleased and I am so relieved to have care that I trust so much.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Valley Sleep Center - Tucson

What does Valley Sleep Center - Tucson do?

Valley Sleep Center - Tucson is a sleep medicine clinic in Tucson, AZ that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Valley Sleep Center - Tucson?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Valley Sleep Center - Tucson directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Valley Sleep Center - Tucson?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Valley Sleep Center - Tucson?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
