THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY BROKEN HEART PROGRESIVE NEUROLOGY!!! To the receptionist who called me. Thank you for all you did on our phone call today. I have some life changing events coming up next week. Things I might now be able to do for a few years. I HOPE TO GOD you under how much I appreciate you. I'm in tears writing this. This appointment meant almost the equivalent to the love of my mother and family. I have seen Dr Rai for 10 plus years. No one knows my epilepsy like he does and no one matches you guys, Dr Rai junior or senior. Please, to the people reading these negative reviews and not trying the office, please, please give them a chance. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Be patient, be kind. Thank you, this meant so so so so so much. I love you guys.

I came to leave a review for Dr Shadi Milani and I am in disbelief at the negative reviews for this office. I absolutely LOVED dr Milani. She is very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Today was my 2nd visit . She was probably my favorite neurologist I have ever had. I was also totally happy with the office staff. No issues what so ever.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My mom has been going to this location with Dr. Karandevdick. He shouldn’t even be called a doctor. He’s very rude and prescribes unnecessary medication without knowing the full details of his patients. My mom has been struggling with seizures that have caused severe head injuries and all HE wants to do is prescribe meds without trying to do a full panel and tells her to increase her dosage. Very unprofessional. Can’t call yourself a doctor if you don’t care about the patient only your pay check.

maybe they should get more than one phone line. busy for three days straight? the one time I did get through, I got a recording telling me to call during business hours.. Absolute joke. I have been trying to get my husband's c pap supplies since December. I can't get this office to help! My insurance co. filed a grievance with them because they could not get through for four days. The company they use "Verio" is even more useless. They absolutely refuse to send the c pap supplies. They said they did not know what supplies he needed. I know that the Dr. sends an order telling them what to send. This is the kind of healthcare crap we have to deal with now. Nobody knows what to do. But, they certainly want their money!

Spoke with The Dr Karandevdick Rai totally dismissed the issue with his Staff Stephanie with the pink highlights and Christine who seems to be in charge just a little something they brutalized my daughter then discontinued care when we complained about what has transpired in the office since COVID shut down the office in turn went down hill with disrespectful staff up front and Stephanie and Christine the Son dr condones all behaviors of this practice how is that you can manhandle a patient complain then starting denying care without any references for another specialist. If you at all don't want to test your chances of dying or handled poorly stay away from this location. Kinda like a shopper Beware.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Progressive Neurology & Sleep Medicine Associates
What does Progressive Neurology & Sleep Medicine Associates do?
Progressive Neurology & Sleep Medicine Associates is a sleep medicine clinic in Riverside, CA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Progressive Neurology & Sleep Medicine Associates?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Progressive Neurology & Sleep Medicine Associates directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Progressive Neurology & Sleep Medicine Associates?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Progressive Neurology & Sleep Medicine Associates?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
