I've had nothing but poor experiences at this facility. Follow up appointments are repeatedly canceled. If you do manage to keep one, patients are ramrodded into the bedrooms, back to back so the doctor is free by golfing hour! The waiting area feels like you're sitting in a cattle car because of all the patients waiting their turn in the 4.5 hour block! Employees are rude and hang up on you mid sentence when you call. There HAS to be a more professional place in this town.

Usually when we come here there is no problem, but today when my 92 year old grandfather had his appointment and told him he needed to be fitted for a new mask. We had waited for an hour and a half while the technician saw 3 people that came in after us and then the receptionist came out and said that he would get a new mask when he got his new machine, and then that was still not correct, she said she would go find out was happening which was another 20 minutes.

Hi, I am so pleaseful about the medical sleep procedures at the El Paso sleep center located a t joe battle Blvd. I am so impressed by how I am improving with my sleep apnea diagnosis. I can't thank enough to Mr. Diaz and his most beautiful girls who work so hard to get a good nights sleep and rest. This place is full of love, laughter, and especially a lot of teamwork which is really nice. They all treat me like a true loving family. If course my good medical assistant Darline she gets mad at me, she gives me good advice, and thats ok I learned something different when I get to see her. I see Darline as a good example, to keep my head up no matter what life throws at me. Also to appreciate the most sweet things in life. God bless you all.The peace of Christ be with you all, and also with

I brought my 92 year old father to get his sleep study results and was told that he needed to have his mask refitted. They had us go back to the waiting room and said that they would be right with us. We ended up waiting for an hour and they seemed to forget about us as the technician help 3 other people who came in after us. When we decided to go ask the receptionist they kept saying that someone new needed to be helped first and they would go see what was going on. Then one of them came to us saying that he would be fitted with a new mask when he got his new machine, which was not the case as he did not need the new machine. We told her that was the case so then she went back to the desk. 20 minutes later some one came and finally took him to get fitted for a new mask.

This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. My room had a working whirlpool bath. I slept great. They even let me in early so I didn't have to stand outside in the cold. 5 stars all the way!

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about El Paso Sleep Center
What does El Paso Sleep Center do?
El Paso Sleep Center is a sleep medicine clinic in El Paso, TX that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at El Paso Sleep Center?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact El Paso Sleep Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at El Paso Sleep Center?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at El Paso Sleep Center?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
