I would like to report an issue that happened today with one of the employees who said her name was “Start” at the location 4232 H St, Sacramento, CA 95819. She refused to attend to my mother because my mother does not speak English fluently. I explained to her that my mom understands English and is able to follow instructions. However, the employee said she needed to communicate with her throughout the night and that they would not understand each other. She also told me that if I did not stay there, she would be calling me all night to communicate with my mom. My understanding is that this is a sleep monitoring facility where patients are supposed to rest, not be awake all night. My mother would have only needed to answer a few very basic questions and then go to sleep. She is capabl

My 6-year-old son had to undergo a sleep apnea study, and we arrived at California Sleep Solution around 8 PM. From the moment we got there, Eren took exceptional care of my son and made sure he felt comfortable throughout the entire process. For a six-year-old, all the gadgets and wires can be overwhelming, but Eren handled everything with so much patience, kindness, and professionalism. She truly knows her job well and has a wonderful way with kids. This 5-star review is solely because of Eren and the care she provided. Highly appreciated!

I have severe sleep apnea and had been using CPAP for 7 years and it stopped working in middle of the night. I called 24 hour help line and they couldn't help me on a Friday night and said wait until Monday and I could call. Very shitty customer service and night time tech knowing nothing. Since I use Oxygen too the technician said to use the Oxygen only. So why do i need a cpap then ? I use CPAP for problems with Epilepsy. If I have a seizure tonight the the company will be sued for not protecting my health. Very shitty company. If you have other choices of companies i recommend you not use this one and find a company that has 24 hour help. Why does my CPAP have a sticker on it for California Sleep Solutions with a serial number.???? Proof that you are my service provider. Got

I am shocked to read so many negative reviews. I had an excellent experience with my overnight sleep study in July. Ethan was my technician. He was respective, informative, competent and kind. He explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nearby. I felt like I was in great hands. The location is excellent, very safe, with plenty of parking. I highly recommend them!

I have only had positive experiences with this company. I have had 2 sleep studies with them (1 was just a baseline and the other a titration) and was very pleased both times. Facility was clean, staff respectful and understanding, and it was probably the best experiences I've had dealing with CPAP's and sleep apnea. Bed was comfy, good pillows, the works. Noah was my "person" (I know they have a technical term but I can't remember it) and was very patient and understanding when it came to wires and nodes and me being comfortable. I have had nothing but positive experiences including messages through Klarna, phone calls, and in office experiences. I would recommend and, if I need another test, I will happily come back. My ONLY complaint was how long it took to have the study but that wasn'

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about California Sleep Solutions

What does California Sleep Solutions do?

California Sleep Solutions is a sleep medicine clinic in Sacramento, CA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at California Sleep Solutions?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact California Sleep Solutions directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at California Sleep Solutions?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at California Sleep Solutions?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
