This place is highly discriminatory. They refused to serve me because I do not speak English fluently. In the state of California, denying service based on language or origin is considered discrimination. Additionally, I have noticed that they delete negative reviews, as my comments have been removed multiple times. This is unacceptable and shameful. A business that allows this type of behavior from its employees should not operate this way. I filed a complaint with Human Resources, and nothing was done about it. I demand that appropriate action be taken to ensure all customers are treated with respect and without discrimination. The place it’s the one at H st Sacramento ca

I would have loved to give more stars because staff was nice but unfortunately they failed at the most important aspect of the job. Following the referrals instructions. I had a sleep study there in October 2025, the staff was friendly and polite. The reason for the 1 star is that I was informed after the study that staff had put the wrong mask on me and that I needed to reschedule to retake the test. THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE REFERAL WERE NOT FOLLOWED CORRECT. These tests are not easy to take and do take a toll on the patient. When rescheduled I made it for the Folsom CSL and had a much better experience there and the correct mask was used for the test. When my doctors office informed me that I needed to retake the test I was told that I needed to reschedule and that I would receive a

My wife had been pestering me about my snoring for quite some time. I knew I snored, but one night I ran an app that analyzes sounds during sleep (Mintal Tracker-Highly recommended). Turns out I didn't just snore...I SNORED! REALLY bad! I knew it was bad, just not nearly that bad. I got a referral to a sleep specialist from my primary doc. They ordered a 2-night at-home sleep test, and sent me to California Sleep Solutions. I had to make an appointment to pick up and return the equipment (which I thought was a bit odd for an at-home test, but OK). I met with the tech who walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable with putting the sensors on. I can't remember her name offhand, but she was AMAZING! The test was super simple. Strap the main sensor around your chest with th

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about California Sleep Solutions

What does California Sleep Solutions do?

California Sleep Solutions is a sleep medicine clinic in Roseville, CA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at California Sleep Solutions?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact California Sleep Solutions directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at California Sleep Solutions?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at California Sleep Solutions?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
