My mother needed an ENT to look at her swollen ear asap. UC Health refused to see her until a month a half out. We called AOO ENT Specialists and they got us in the next day. It was a good thing too. Dr. Agarwal drained blood out of my mother’s ear so that she could hear again. Dr. Agarwal was warm, friendly, knowledgeable about my mother’s condition and so helpful. We genuinely appreciate her; the AOO scheduler, who was willing to schedule the appointment so quickly; Samantha, the doctor’s assistant who got us booked to return on Monday; as well as the front desk staff, who were also very pleasant. The Castle Rock office was clean, modern and light and bright.

They literally told me that they are excepting new patients, but because we don’t have the expensive insurance they won’t see us. We had a Dr referral to them and everything, as my partner is in pain and his life is being affected by it, but they wouldn’t even call us to tell us this. It’s so good to know that if we don’t have the ritzy insurance that we are looked down upon and don’t deserve health care. Despicable.

What a waste of time this appointment was - so disappointing! Was experiencing extreme vertigo and was referred to this office by my neurologist. Waited a month and a half to see Dr. Linkeit - then waited in the office for two hours to be seen by Dr. Linkeit for literally five minutes of his time. He tried to access my MRI results from CR Adventist Hospital (right next door) couldn’t do it and gave up immediately. Told me it sounded like a migraine condition (duh) since I had mentioned that I was sent by my neurologist and have been diagnosed with vestibular migraines. He then suggested that I make two more appointments, one for a balance test and then another appointment to review the results of the balance test. I will not be wasting a single minute or another dollar at this pathetic off

Wonderful! I’ve been to this group I think three times over the years. It’s been for two different things and they have always been wonderful. They listen, they aren’t rushed and they are very timely. I was literally finished and leaving the office 15 minutes after my appointment time. I saw Dr. Rasband today and could not have been happier. I found her because I had seen another doctor who was terrible at listening. Dr. Rasband listened, asked thoughtful questions and provided a clear path forward all of which felt relevant to my specific situation and needs. The support staff is also great. You cannot go wrong seeing this group.!

AOO ENT offered a great experience from the moment I called to make the appointment. They are kind and courteous and professional. Got me in within 2 days! There was very little time in the waiting room. And also little time waiting to see the doctor. I've been dealing with some sinus issues four years now. With little help from anybody. But Dr Wilson took his time to hear me. And was very nice and made me feel comfortable. He spent some time explaining my ct scans to me. And we also discussed what he believes could be going on with my sinus. It was a very easy visit that left me feeling that there's some hope in getting to the bottom of my problem. I do recommend this clinic! They're really nice and very helpful!

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies

What does AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies do?

AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies is a sleep medicine clinic in Castle Rock, CO that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
