Do not go here if you want any help. The staff is rude, they don’t know what they’re doing, are unhelpful and don’t respond to voicemails. Out of seven times of leaving messages I only received two calls back. Josh at the front desk got loud with me and the Manager, Wendy, wasn’t any better. It’s been over two months since I got the machine and still nobody has helped me get it working correctly. If you want a help with sleep do NOT go here.

DON’T go here! I wish I could leave zero stars. This place is an absolute scam. They told me I had my one fee to pay for the study. They charged me for the consult, the study, and then to give me my results. The conversations were less than 10 min each and they charged me $200 each time without telling me. I very specifically asked when paying for the study, that charge would be the only one. The lady at the front desk said yes and that’s the only reason I signed. And at the end, they couldn’t even tell me definitive answers. Your Apple Watch can tell you everything this place does. Absolute joke, don’t go here.

While the respiratory therapist is kind and clearly tries her best, this establishment is poorly managed overall. It feels like you’re paying premium rates for bargain-basement treatment I lost faith in Sleepwell and came to believe they were simply taking advantage of both my insurance and me, without delivering the quality of care I expected.

Avoid this place at all costs. My doctor referred me to Sleepwell Center for a sleep study. I scheduled my initial consultation and was told I could do an at-home sleep study. Before moving forward, I wanted to know how much it would cost. Sleepwell told me to call my insurance company for pricing. My insurance gave me one price, but Sleepwell quoted me something completely different. I asked Sleepwell to provide a good faith estimate in writing (as required), but instead they texted me a price — which is not an official document. I went back and forth with them for three weeks trying to get a proper written estimate. During that time, they started calling, texting, and emailing me multiple times a day about a $35 co-pay from my initial consultation. I told them repeatedly that I don’t

Dr. David and the team at the Sleep Well Center are truly exceptional. From the very first appointment, he made me feel heard, supported, and cared for. He took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me understand the root of my sleep issues. His approach is both compassionate and knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed or dismissed. Thanks to Dr. David, my sleep has improved dramatically—and with it, my overall quality of life. I can’t recommend him and the Sleep Well Center enough. If you’re struggling with sleep, this is the place to go.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about The Sleepwell Center
What does The Sleepwell Center do?
The Sleepwell Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Greenwood Village, CO that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at The Sleepwell Center?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact The Sleepwell Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at The Sleepwell Center?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at The Sleepwell Center?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
