5/5 Stars - Highly Recommend!I had a great experience with Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources. The entire process was incredibly quick once I uploaded the recommended information and my doctor’s office sent over the correct referral. The staff here is fantastic. My referral needed extra time to clear, but that was an issue on the insurance side, not theirs. You certainly cannot blame the clinic for insurance delays! Despite that hurdle, the staff was more than willing to accommodate my situation and work with me.Thanks to their helpful team, I was able to get my sleep study done accurately and comfortably. To top it off, my results were sent over to my doctor in a very timely manner. I highly recommend them for their excellent customer service and efficiency!

I called today to verify that my referral had been received from my doctor. I was advised that it had been received, but that a different referral would be needed because the correct study had not been ordered. I explained that I have already completed one sleep study and that I needed the titration portion in order to be prescribed the treatment that is needed. I was then told the sleep center needed the results from my first sleep study. I emailed those records over today. After sending the records, I called back to see if I could be scheduled because I need this completed before July 23. During that call, I was informed that a pre-authorization would be required. Given the issues I have already encountered while trying to complete this process, I asked if someone could call me once th

Feels like doing business in the last century. No patient portal and their website is not helpful. They actually asked for payment via check which was wild to me doubly so because they sent the bill via the postal service and not email or text. I did receive a next business day call to take my payment over the phone. But they charged me extra for paying with a card. Both women that I interacted with were prompt and kind but that can't make up for the time suck of dealing with old fashioned billing practices when thinking about the business as a hole. When I was set up to wear the device my actual sleep schedule was not taken into account and I had to try to adjust to their preset sleep hours. And the device came with a loose pulse ox and they're suggestion was to just tape it on. Ther

My experience with the staff here was incredible. The office ladies were so kind to me and everyone made sure I knew every step of every process. Answered every question I could come up with without hesitation. If I could rate 100 stars I would. Made an uncertain time in my life so much better and smoother.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources LLC

What does Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources LLC do?

Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources LLC is a sleep medicine clinic in Pueblo, CO that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources LLC?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources LLC directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources LLC?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Rocky Mountain Sleep Resources LLC?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
