I have been managing central apnea for several years now and I recently had the best experience I've had since starting treatment with Rebis Health in Longmont. Janine, one of the sleep techs, went above and beyond. She reviewed my case before my appointment, came prepared with notes, took the time to really listen, and followed up afterward to make sure everything was going well. It was clear she was genuinely invested in helping me improve my therapy, which unfortunately hasn't always been my experience. The biggest change was switching me to a nasal mask. I had been dealing with significant aerophagia for years, and since making the switch, it's been virtually nonexistent. I'm honestly shocked such a simple change made such a dramatic difference after struggling for so long. Having s

Janie is delightful to work with. She is friendly, positive, knowledgeable, and supportive. She takes the time to understand my overall health and sleep patterns, explore ways to improve my health and sleep quality, and expertly recalibrates my CPAP as needed. She has truly wonderful, and I greatly appreciate her care and expertise.

I am extremely grateful the Rebis Health team, and in particular Dr. Ari Walter. Dr. Walter has been and continues to be an extremely helpful resource for addressing and improving sleep disorders. James Stanley, Susan Essien, and Robert Woodruff (all sleep technicians I had w/ Rebis) were extremely helpful, communicative, and friendly. Sleep studies are no fun, and its disappointing cost is so prohibitive for so many. I highly recommend Rebis Health, Dr. Walter, and his office team (including Erin Sunday, who was extremely helpful). This team successfully helped me navigate a variety of challenges (esp w/ Lincare med device company) that arose. I've benefited greatly from their compassion, professionalism, and commitment. I will continue to use this provider for these reasons

It took about 9 months to get fully comfortable with my CPap, but Janie worked with me patiently to make it happen. Kim, PA, has been wonderful helping me with unrelated sleep issues. Both are knowledgeable, very helpful, personable, and have a good sense of humor! Even though the company recently changed ownership, service remained excellent!

This review is my option of the experience I had. I would give them zero stars if I could. This is just Colorado Sleep Institute with a new name (take a look at the old reviews before the name change). I was a patient when the name change occurred and a staff member told it was because of "the lawsuit" but no more details. It takes a really long time to get an appointment. It took 10 months from when I called to schedule an appointment to when I received my diagnosis & equipment. It still takes me an inordinate amount of time to get my supplies (I'm currently on month 3 of using expired supplies because they don't respond to supply requests or answer the phone). Yes, I'm in the process of changing doctors, but Rebis also will not provide me with a prescription to try and order supplies on

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Rebis Health Clinic

What does Rebis Health Clinic do?

Rebis Health Clinic is a sleep medicine clinic in Longmont, CO that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Rebis Health Clinic?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Rebis Health Clinic directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Rebis Health Clinic?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Rebis Health Clinic?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
