Sam was super helpful when the website would not allow me to add card information to pay my bill. I believe they also removed late fees since I was encountering a technical issue. Sam gets 5 stars. As far as sleep care, I’d say I had 2 good sleep studies, but the ability to manage and keep track of equipment/other medical documentation is quite confusing with their setup. Further, my records seem to be split prior to my name change and after making it difficult for the providers to view my history during appointments. The communication with the admin team has been relatively mediocre as it’s hit or miss whether my questions get answered or not and whether you get someone with a decent demeanor. They also schedule you super far out and then call you last minute to move up your appointment

I'm writing this review literally 10 minutes after my sleep study; let me tell you, it was a fantastic experience! I had some apprehension going into the process after speaking with a few friends who'd undergone studies themselves, however what I'd experienced was smooth sailing. Candice was the technologist who performed my polysonogram, and I felt 100% at ease and safe in her care. It was apparent how knowledgeable she was, happily answering the million questions I had. It genuinely felt that she was passionate about her craft! Not to mention, there was no hesitation when I required assistance/needed blankets throughout the night. I felt like I was her only patient, and top priority --truly a wonderful provider! :)

Stay away from this place. Horrible main office schedulers. If you want to see your doctor you have to go in and only way to do virtual appt is if your willing to see a PA and not your actual doctor. Supplies group is equally bad. They overcharge and good luck trying to get a prescription in order to get supplies from another company for.lower cost. They will lock you in with their supply provider.

My daughter has a fever of over 101 and needs to be seen by the doctor. It will cost me $125 to switch the appointment. Had to go luckily her doctors were more willing to help.

I had an appointment and they called me the day before my appointment to cancel saying they don’t have techs that work Tuesdays and Wednesdays (so why schedule me on those days in the 1st place then?) My appointment had been scheduled for 3 months, they could’ve called me long before. So in order to schedule another appointment they made me go through another pre-visit video call. They called me 10mins beforehand and sent me the link to log in. I paid my co-pay, logged in 5 mins before my appointment (using the link they sent me) I waited on the call for 40 minutes and no one ever came on the call. I logged in at 12:55 and waited till 1:35 before I hung up. They emailed me saying I no-showed to my appointment. I emailed back explaining that I did not no-show, the doctor no-showed and I ask

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Comprehensive Sleep Care Center-Fredericksburg
What does Comprehensive Sleep Care Center-Fredericksburg do?
Comprehensive Sleep Care Center-Fredericksburg is a sleep medicine clinic in Fredericksburg, VA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Comprehensive Sleep Care Center-Fredericksburg?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Comprehensive Sleep Care Center-Fredericksburg directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Comprehensive Sleep Care Center-Fredericksburg?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Comprehensive Sleep Care Center-Fredericksburg?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
