I was a victim of battery by my surgeon Dr. Paul Armstrong who I am now currently suing and have filed a police report against. I fell twice because the shower flooded my 2 different rooms and thier solution was to tape up a blanket as a bathroom door. This place is very disorganized byvyhe nurses were great for the most part

My experience has been truly wonderful. From the front desk staff to the assistant and Dr. Yamile Pupo, everyone has treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They make me feel welcomed and comfortable every time I visit. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Yamile Pupo for the exceptional gynecological and obstetric care she has provided. After experiencing a miscarriage, she helped me regain my confidence and hope through her compassion, support, and dedication. Her expertise and genuine concern for her patients have made a tremendous difference in my life. I am deeply thankful for the outstanding care I have received and highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking excellent gynecological and obstetric care.

I recently had sonograms at Advent Health, Pablo Campus. The facility is nice enough, well maintained and clean. Front lobby and desk staff were helpful and nice. I had 2 main issues here that keep me from giving a higher rating. One is that for the sonogram you have to have a full bladder. They instruct you to drink a certain amount of water an hour before. So you arrive with that full bladder. So to be kept WAITING for 45 minutes past your appointment time is extremely uncomfortable/borderline painful. If I'd have had to wait any longer I would not have been able to hold off. If you're scheduling testing that requires a full bladder there should be a sense of urgency (and not just urinary!) to get people attended to in a timely manner. OR notify them that there is delay so they can hold

I had my son on 1/3/26, and it was truly a phenomenal experience. Every single person I encountered—the doctors, nurses, sonographer, and epidural nurse—was kind, supportive, and genuinely caring. Dr. Murray delivered my baby and was incredibly comforting and reassuring. My nurse Gabby was amazing during labor and made me feel so supported and confident while pushing. All of the nurses leading up to delivery were wonderful. Moe even came back to see me on her next shift, which meant so much to me. Emily was also fantastic during her shift. The charge nurse, Autumn, was the first nurse I saw and immediately set the tone for the excellent care I received. Sam did my epidural and stayed to chat with us afterward, which helped calm my nerves and made the experience fun and relaxed. My postp

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about AdventHealth Tampa

What does AdventHealth Tampa do?

AdventHealth Tampa is a sleep medicine clinic in Tampa, FL that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at AdventHealth Tampa?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact AdventHealth Tampa directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at AdventHealth Tampa?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at AdventHealth Tampa?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
