I left this place crying like a baby 😭 I am beyond grateful for Sleep Center of Nevada. Julie took her time to listen to my sleep issues and didn't brush me off like I was delusional. I expressed to her how I haven't slept well almost my entire life. The front desk staff are amazing as well. To everyone at the North Las Vegas location: you are all so appreciated. Thank you!

Have not been able to get through. Sent my insurance in as asked, when I call back I’m transferred to a voicemail. Finally got a call back after two days. When I returned the call I was asked to hold for a minute and that turned into 18 minutes I called back and immediately put on hold without being asked to hold. I understand places get busy and work can be hectic at times but communication with a potential client is import. “It’s busy now can you call back in 30 minutes or can I call you back later and ask for contact information and actually call back that day” many options vs leaving someone on hold for almost 20 minutes. I even used the extension given. I need the study so I’ll call back again and hope for the best try to do better thank you.

Very disappointed. I had a sleep study in early April, no one called me with that results so I called after three weeks and whoever answered my call gave me my results and told me I had to go in for a 2nd sleep study. After scheduling the 2nd sleep study, I find out that the Sleep Center took too long to submit my referral to my insurance so my appointment was canceled. Also, I was told that this second appointment was to be fitted for a mask but that was not true. It was yet another sleep test. Now it’s going to take another 2 weeks to get results, results for what I have idea. I have yet to speak to a doctor. I’ve only talked to random people answer the phone. This process takes entirely too long. No one calls you with results you have to chase them and they don’t even educate you on th

Please read some other reviews before you invest your time, money, and health into this place. This place is ran like an unorganized circus and it's no wonder they have such poor ratings. I'd go somewhere else before you go down the path of less than mediocre people who are probably over billing for terrible service. They're worth about 1.5 stars 🌟 but no way am I going to give them 2. Good luck getting a hold of anybody, for them to know what they're doing, or them communicating when your next appointment is, insurance authorization, notes, really anything most medical places are supposed to give you and their mailbox is of course full, but not like they were going to call you back anyways. 2nd time I was there and some gentleman they completely messed up his schedule, I knew I shoul

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about The Sleep Center of Nevada
What does The Sleep Center of Nevada do?
The Sleep Center of Nevada is a sleep medicine clinic in North Las Vegas, NV that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at The Sleep Center of Nevada?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact The Sleep Center of Nevada directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at The Sleep Center of Nevada?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at The Sleep Center of Nevada?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
