If there was a 0 I would put 0. I have never had a dr office that does not even pick up there phone when a customer or anyone calls. It is all what benefits there company and not the patient which is who helps build there business. They give you 2 options to leave a message refill or appt. . I have been very dissatisfied with this clinic and honestly do not know how they stay in business. Courtney was who we saw as our dr. and Heather have both been awesome but they are both gone. My husband has been trying to get a refill on a medication for 2 months now with no avail.. Very unprofessional and definitely do not value there patients and put there interest above there business.

Ok so I have bit my tongue long enough. I give this practice a 2 only because I really, really love the providers here. However, the staff at the front are RUDE and honestly I’m unsure why or how they still work here. My first encounter with them was my first appointment I was sitting in waiting room waiting to be called back. A beautiful mom with 4 very young kids walked in. She checked in and sat down with her well behaved babies. After she was called back I was BLOWN AWAY! I heard the front desk ladies talking about her and one even said “if I had 4 kids I would drive my car off a cliff” UNBELIEVABLE. I have 4 kids so I was even more in shock someone in this field would be so careless in their volume when speaking in front of patients. Another time I visited I heard them laughing about

Fantastic and friendly staff, lab time turnarounds are great, very little wait time for both the appointment and the office wait to be seen. Ginger is great and has addressed all questions and concerns!

Ginger has been great for me and for my daughter. She listens well and she has been able to adjust my treatment plan to allow me to feel much better. I highly recommend her. Ginger is very busy so be sure to schedule in advance to see her. Her nurse is also so very sweet to me. I also see them for my weekly allergy shots so I am in often. They are happy to accommodate my ever changing schedule for my allergy shots appointments. Their lab assignment Amy is also one of my favorites… she is so sweet and she is great at her job!

We had a wonderful experience with Courtney Groves during my mom’s appointment. She was kind, patient, and took the time to listen to all of our concerns. She explained everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable with the care plan. It’s rare to find a provider who is both knowledgeable and compassionate, but Courtney was exactly that. We truly appreciate the excellent care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and attentive medical professional.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Stone Creek Family Medicine
What does Stone Creek Family Medicine do?
Stone Creek Family Medicine is a sleep medicine clinic in Montgomery, TX that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Stone Creek Family Medicine?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Stone Creek Family Medicine directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Stone Creek Family Medicine?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Stone Creek Family Medicine?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
