The doctor gave me inaccurate records. They broke my hipaa laws because one of the staff members texted my phone and got my phone number from my medical records. She cornered me in the room and was very intimidating to me and I felt threatened. A couple years ago, they said, I had COPD. Now all of a sudden, I don't have it and they say I have baby Asthma. I come to find out from my new doctor that they have to do all my TESTING Over. Because this doctor at this old office, the one I'm reviewing. Apparently don't have their medical situation under control. The doctors are not on point. They're wrong about medically important things. The staff members talk about you as you're sitting in the room, they ask you to change your appointment only to tell you. My physician recommended the Sleep Center of Bucks County for a sleep study. I called three times. Left messages three times and never received a return call. This is NOT the way anyone should run a business. Thank goodness I did my own research and found Advocare... they responded immediately and got me an appointment the same week.

I responded to the Newtown sleep center for sleep apnea . The online information stated they did "online" testing and virtual calls so I made an appointment online for a virtual call as stated on their website . I received a call from their office and the person kept calling me the wrong name and stated they do not do "online" testing. I asked what about the appointment I made online for a virtual call ? She stated the online appointments were inaccurate and not dependable . I told her I would give her a call if I decided to use them but was looking for online assistance through virtual calls etc . The next day I received a call from their office again about the appointment . There is clearly no inneroffice communication and they need to remove any reference to online services if that's in

Very happy with this office and provider. Doctor is warm and caring. He has an accent, but very easy to understand. No problem getting appointments, I did have to wait one time for the CPAP clinic (not the doctor), and that was because there was an older woman with cognitive issues ahead of me. Office has some irregular hours due to it being a sleep clinic, but you can leave a message. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Khan and the staff are great. The sleep study rooms are kind of gross though.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Sleep Center of Bucks County
What does Sleep Center of Bucks County do?
Sleep Center of Bucks County is a sleep medicine clinic in Newtown, PA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Sleep Center of Bucks County?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Sleep Center of Bucks County directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Sleep Center of Bucks County?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Sleep Center of Bucks County?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
