Am very dissatisfied with the way his patients are treated. A friend has Fatal Sleep Apnea and he was told they would take care of him. Calling and leaving messages over 3 weeks and never receiving a call back is not taking care of your patient. Then he finally goes to his appointment and the office is closed! Who sends a text to confirm an appointment on a day that the office is closed? He showed up and was not seen. Now he has to wait almost 3 weeks to be seen. He can die in his sleep but Dr. Greenberg treats it like it’s nothing! May send a complaint to the AMA. I thought Dr’s took an oath to do no harm? I feel my friend is being harmed by his lack of compassion. Or maybe he just doesn’t really care?

A Complete waste of your time the man twisted my words and completely lied through his teeth at the hearing that I had for my ssi he said that I am currently still building guns with my dad and I'm able to do all kinds of things. And that's not what I told him, he barely did a proper checkup. He is not a proper doctor his office is trash anybody that does less than a bare minimum, like he does, does not deserve to call himself a doctor He bases his findings off of what he can see on the outside, not on the inside and I find that they're findings are very unprofessional. My father has been retired from gunsmithing. For a long time, I do not go out and drive.I am unable to there are bunch of things that I am unable to do that.He said , I am , and I told him i'm not able to do not go to this ma

When I went to see him, around two years ago. He done a sleep study on me, and he was very good at his job. But the one that runs his office is very rude. Now I needed to see a pulmonology, for my lungs. So my Germany doctor send a referral to him, and they called my doctor and said they couldn't see me at all. He wasn't taking any new patient at all, and he was only doing sleep studies now. Nothing with the lungs. Crying same is office is run wrong. For he was a good doctor. Martha

Office manager extremely rude !! I called to follow up with a referral was immediately transferred the office manager.she states they have called when there’s has not been any calls. Then states they sent a letter our 6 days ago and it was not responded to ? Mail takes a few days .. Then stated well we’re too busy to see you call your primary and find someone else. So disappointed I have been seen in this office a few time so not sure why a referral was even needed in first place ….

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about ROBERT GREENBERG, MD
What does ROBERT GREENBERG, MD do?
ROBERT GREENBERG, MD is a sleep medicine clinic in GAINESVILLE, FL that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at ROBERT GREENBERG, MD?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact ROBERT GREENBERG, MD directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at ROBERT GREENBERG, MD?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at ROBERT GREENBERG, MD?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
