I came in for sciatic nerve pain. When I showed the doctor what urgent care was given me to take he made me really knowledgeable about the medicine that was given to me one that could actually cause early stage dimension. Doctor (A.hamidi md) was very helpful and made me feel extremely safe and comfortable visit was fast staff was friendly. The doctor was also willing to give me his schedule on the days that he would be here if I needed to come back for the same issue his top priority was to fix the problem as soon as possible because staying healthy is the key so fix it as soon as possible

Why does this hospital not have in Place if you come in with chest pain, or a person who feels they have something going on with their heart, that you bypass the front and be sent back to the medical staff asap. I know plenty of hospitals that do and pride themselves on how fast they can get someone with a possible heart attack taken care of. My person stayed in lobby all day before they found out she needed to be transported to a hear hospital. What a joke for a hospital.

🚨 RUN FROM THIS HOSPITAL!!!🚨🏃🏼♀️This hospital is shady!!! They give you one price and when you pay, they go and bill you again with a much larger price! They told me if we paid the $556 that day we would just pay that discounted price for the ER visit. We paid it in full and now they're trying to bill us another "discount" price of 3 grand! What wicked deception is this?!? Shame on Mcloud! Find yourself a hospital who's honest and upfront about prices and payment. I'm a business owner and if I ever did this to my clients I'd be out of business! This is disgraceful!!!!! 🤢

CAMERAS! NO PRIVACY FOR PATIENTS! I had oral surgery, and for almost two weeks I took my prescribed pain meds as directed (oral surgeon unaffiliated with mcleod). I've struggled with constipation for years, which is also a side effect of the pain meds. So approximately 3 and half weeks of having only one bowel movement; I knew I had to go to the e.r.. I was bloated I was in pain a hemmeroid that was acting up and last but not least blood when I was straining. I was so scared I would go and they would manually extract the poop from my behind, I knew it would be painful and probably the most humiliating thing that could ever happen to me. I was wrong. What went on at the hospital was worse. It took 4 hrs for them to call me back, I'm immediately shown to a room with a solid glass walls and d

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about McLeod Health Clarendon
What does McLeod Health Clarendon do?
McLeod Health Clarendon is a sleep medicine clinic in Manning, SC that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at McLeod Health Clarendon?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact McLeod Health Clarendon directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at McLeod Health Clarendon?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at McLeod Health Clarendon?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
