I always regret coming in if Dr. Smith is my doctor in the ER because he makes you feel more like of an inconvenience rather than wanting to help you. He doesn’t take his patients seriously and will ignore your symptoms and write off how you feel.

Literally, don’t believe the good reviews. no one cares about you or how you’re feeling they dismiss your symptoms as something not so important and then you end up feeling worse and then they still don’t really care. You try to be nice to them. They always act rude to you for no reason what you do or how you act and I try to understand them,, because I get things in our personal life are tough or maybe they simply hate their jobs idk. But being nice and kind it’s not something they do very well here neither ER or Clinic. And I’m talking about nurses and certain doctors. Not the welcoming staff 🫶🏼

My wife and I just had our baby girl delivered at lake health district. Ill say we have been to 3 other hospitals, much bigger, more staff and more equipment but not one stands up even remotely close to this hospital. The place is clean, welcoming and the most amazing staff! I've been kicked out of almost ever other place because I won't stand for them treating my wife in any way disrespectful that was never the case here. Dr. Tucker is a no nonsense doctor that knows what she's doing and just gets it done! Our amazing R/Ns Michelle and Margaret are just the absolute best! We couldn't have felt more at home in our home!! Oh and also the night staff aswell one gentleman in particular was so awesome to talk with, super helpful!! I wish I could give more then just 5 stars this place deserves

I've been there on a few occasions and some of my family members had emergencies as well. They're very respectful and I feel like they take excellent care of their patients and as quickly as possible. It feels as if they truely care for their patients.

Went here with my wife for her appointment. I'm sitting in the seating area. A bunch of staff congregating around the coffee cart. Apparently vibrators, one of them having a boy, and someone laughing about intentionally missing a staff meeting was the topic amongst other stuff. It being a small town hospital. I already had low expectations of professionalism. Due to previous experiences with small town businesses. You would think that certain conversations that include men not being someones type, vibrators and essentially saying mandatory meetings are a waste of time is the culture here. Glad this was not a life and death appointments, who knows what kind of care my wife would receive. I'll be sure to take her somewhere else from now own.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Lake Health District Sleep Lab
What does Lake Health District Sleep Lab do?
Lake Health District Sleep Lab is a sleep medicine clinic in Lakeview, OR that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Lake Health District Sleep Lab?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Lake Health District Sleep Lab directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Lake Health District Sleep Lab?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Lake Health District Sleep Lab?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
