I highly recommend HOPE SLEEP CLINIC. I have cervical spondylosis myelomalacia myelopathy. A very complicated condition that interferes with the breathing functions that's hard to diagnose. My first sleep study was done by another place called BLACKSTONE. They completely misdiagnosed my breathing condition completely. I ended up with money and time wasted and the wrong breathing machine due to their diagnosis which actually made my condition worse. But these people put a lot into my sleep test. They performed a TRITATION test. But I want to comment on the care and concern of Hope's staff and facility. It was a very clean and comfortable. I have P.T.S.D. which I was worried about trying to sleep in a unfamiliar place. I was just as comfortable as I would've been if at home. TV was avai

I was a little worried going into this experience based on previous reviews but I had a 5 star experience! Anita and Marvin were my technicians and both of them were so kind, patient, answered all of my questions and made my comfort a top priority! Sleeping away from home while having a bunch of wires on you isn’t fun but given the circumstances, it really was an easygoing experience. I had an overnight and day time one so I was there for quite a while and the only thing I would suggest would be to maybe have a recliner in the room so people can sit comfortably for long periods of time and to maybe have a warm lit lamp because the bright lights can give some people headaches. Other than that, great experience!

I had to go to Hope Sleep Clinic for a sleep diagnostic test. Upon arriving the two techs greeted me and asked me to fill out some paperwork. A few minutes later I was asked to go into one of the exam rooms. Mr.Marvin (the tech) that assisted me for the night was very kind and personable. He explained what was being done and what it was for. Once I was hooked up to all the necessary wires and laid down, I am shocked at how fast I actually fell asleep. I would definitely recommend this location if one needs to have sleep diagnostic testing. The facility was clean and nice. The bed was actually comfortable. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Clinic was very clean and quiet. Staff were very polite and attentive to my needs. Only downside was the bed provided gave me a sore lower back, but I'm a picky sleeper.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Hope Sleep Clinic
What does Hope Sleep Clinic do?
Hope Sleep Clinic is a sleep medicine clinic in Southlake, TX that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Hope Sleep Clinic?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Hope Sleep Clinic directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Hope Sleep Clinic?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Hope Sleep Clinic?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
