I recently had a physical appointment with Dr. Yousuf Syed on July 21st, 2026, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and professional, which immediately put me at ease. The check-in process was smooth, and each step of my visit was handled efficiently and with great care. Dr. Syed took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all my questions, making me feel fully supported and informed about my health. On 07/28/2026 I went to Duly Medical Center in Bloomingdale, IL. for routine blood work in the second floor laboratory. This was the second time I had this lab technician (I don’t know her name). There was probably 6 months between the blood work- the first time I went to her it was somewhat hurtful but some technician’s are better at taking blood than others. This time (07/28/2026) [I was gritting my teeth]. It was my responsibility to tell her to stop- which I did not do. I got through it but she had put so much pressure on my arm that it hurt for at least an hour & I had a significant bruise. I did contact Duly’s complaint department- (no one answered the call) - there was a message that asked me to leave a voicemail. I left a message explaining my reason for calling- (their initial m

1/1/2025 I have mixed reviews. Dr. Jandhali and the whole team during my procedure are good. 4stars 🌟 Dr. Koita is a great D.O, 5 stats 🌟, however, the staff at the front desk is not nice non-professional I needed pre-op clearance, the ENT sent them a letter stating the need for the clearance and the date that was needed. Dr. Koita’s office never gave me a call to schedule the appointment. I walked to their office to be seen 5 days before surgery and told me they could not see me for a pre-op that only lasted 10 minutes. The waiting area was empty (see picture) The telephone and voice mail systems have not worked properly since Duly took over. That was also a problem since the ENT office could not communicate with me on a timely basis and I could not leave a VM. In addition to this,

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Duly Health and Care

What does Duly Health and Care do?

Duly Health and Care is a sleep medicine clinic in Bloomingdale, IL that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Duly Health and Care?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Duly Health and Care directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Duly Health and Care?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Duly Health and Care?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
