I loved Dr Rutledge & the staff from my first visit. They show actual sincere concern for ur OVERALL well being. I feel heard & know I can trust what they tell me. Very thorough & goes that extra step to get to the bottom of what’s goin on with u. Knowing I need to stop smoking but they don’t make my condition all because I smoke. They don’t harp on it but of course they want me to quit & do let me know it definitely does not help my issues! Saw the Nurse Practitioner today & I absolutely love her. She is so sweet & took her time explaining or answering any questions I had in words I understand. Made sure I got the right medicines for my issues. She listened to other personal issues I have goin on. The staff… wow! Always so friendly & upbeat. Very professional yet laid back. A Drs office

Dr.Bacha is an excellent doctor for my mom. My review is for the office. My mom has called you and left messages for months now, several times a week. The doctor didn't put in his notes that the cpap is benefiting my mom (which it has 1000% for her severe sleep apnea) and used some generic language that the supplier will not accept, so adapthealth now wants her to send the equipment back and won't send her supplies! This is complete negligence from your office for such a simple fix to contact adapthealth and resolve the issue. My mom is 70 years old and needs this cpap which is attached to oxygen for her breathing problems, which was prescribed by the doctor as urgent! Contact her and adapthealth and resolve this issue asap, it has been months of this back and forth! You know her name alre

I waited three months to get an appointment got my appointment in January went to my appointment drove an hour there and was told that they could not see me because I didn’t get a referral. I had a referral from my doctor and then the office person said that I had to get one for my insurance called my insurance. They didn’t know what she was talking about so she made me another appointment in February 26th at 1 o’clock I drove another hour down. I called first to make sure everything was fine. Everything was fine. I drive down. The office is full of people. She starts talking loud. She calls me just almost a liar. She calls my primary doctor tells my primary doctor that I said I didn’t have to have a referral what is she talking about I don’t even know because she kept saying it was my ins

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Blue Ridge Pulmonary Medicine PC
What does Blue Ridge Pulmonary Medicine PC do?
Blue Ridge Pulmonary Medicine PC is a sleep medicine clinic in Cleveland, TN that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Blue Ridge Pulmonary Medicine PC?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Blue Ridge Pulmonary Medicine PC directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Blue Ridge Pulmonary Medicine PC?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Blue Ridge Pulmonary Medicine PC?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
