Nobody likes spending time in the hospital. So my level of enthusiasm isn’t really behind this review. However, the room was clean, the staff were fantastic and food was actually pretty good. I wish I remembered everyone’s name so I could thank them personally. 3 West has a wonderful staff both day and night shift was top notch. Thank you, Bob Montgomery

We recently had our first child at Bristol Medical Center in Tennessee, and I can honestly say the entire experience was nothing short of 5 stars. From the moment we arrived for my wife’s induction, every single staff member we encountered showed professionalism, expertise, and genuine care. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized. Communication across the entire team was outstanding—you can tell everyone works together seamlessly. What stood out the most was how they empowered us throughout the process. They gave us options, explained everything clearly, and made sure we felt confident in every decision. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone expecting a child. There are a few individuals who truly made this experience exceptional: Nurse Haylee – Extremely p

BRMC was phenomenal with my recent c-section delivery. The staff from the very beginning in triage, to the very end at discharge were absolutely wonderful. My OB (Dr. Walker from Seasons) was so caring and diligent. The anesthesiologists were wonderful, triage/PACU nurses were so supportive, encouraging and calm, postpartum nurses were very attentive but not bothersome at all, and lactation consultants were so incredibly helpful on my breastfeeding journey. The facility/rooms were also super clean and aesthetically pleasing! The hallways were calming. And last but not least, the food was amazing! Definitely didn’t seem like normal hospital food - it was delicious and flavorful! I really can’t recommend BRMC enough.

I came in and was put on a psychiatric hold and by the time I got to the psychiatric facility my money was gone out of my wallet. I have tried reaching out to Ballard to recover that $60. I had a friend who was having a rough time who had to go to the ER and turn himself in and they took his entire paycheck. Hospital staff Rob people on psych holds. Recently my niece was pregnant and she had a pregnancy scare and she went to the hospital and I came and brought her and her boyfriend some food and I was told by staff members that my service dog is not allowed to be in labor and delivery whatsoever. It was claimed by the staff member that that staff member has to remain sterile at all times in case she needs to go into the operating room well guess what you have been in and out of patient ro

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Bristol Regional Medical Center Sleep Lab
What does Bristol Regional Medical Center Sleep Lab do?
Bristol Regional Medical Center Sleep Lab is a sleep medicine clinic in Bristol, TN that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Bristol Regional Medical Center Sleep Lab?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Bristol Regional Medical Center Sleep Lab directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Bristol Regional Medical Center Sleep Lab?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Bristol Regional Medical Center Sleep Lab?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
