My daughter went to convenient care paid her co-pay not to mention insurance payment for her tonsil pain just to be told nothing is wrong. I took her to another clinic paid all again. She has tonsillitis and is being treated. Do these doctors there care or to busy to even do a good check.

My complaint was sore throat in the mornings. The DR looked in my nose with a camera and recommended an in home sleep study. I was in the office for under and hour and billed over $4000 and ultimately nothing was found wrong. I won't be going back unless I have life threatening issues. Update: Aleatha asked me to call. I left voice mail and called for 2 weeks strait without ever getting ahold of anyone.

It seems to me the doctors don’t respect the medical diagnosis of other physicians. There was a debate about my diagnosis from a reputable clinic (Mayo Clinic). It seemed as though Beloit Clinic physicians only followed through because of my persistence. I wouldn’t be prescribed a medication because the doctor didn’t approve of it. Although I was joust previously on the medication. I’m getting conflicting information between the doctors and the insurance company. I don’t know who to believe. I know I’m gonna change facilities and doctors. The score of 2.8 should of been a indicator from the start.

Covered drop off lane at the front door for patients and a helpful greeter at the doorways. Sufficient Handicap parking and general parking. Stop signs at the crosswalk to and from your parked vehicle. Excellent selection of doctors for every medical need. The support staff is very efficient, competent and compassionate. Excellent Lab on 1st floor immediately on the left as you enter the clinic. Also an Convenient/Urgent Care on the 1st floor at the north end of the building!!! ❤️

the main dermatologist is the most inconsiderate, money hungry doctor i've ever met. he took a personal call during our appointment, only prescribes medication instead of treating or creating a care plan, and refused to look at my skin one appointment and instead just walked out and said to reschedule in a few months. the "convenient clinic" doesn't take badgercare (that covers the rest of the health system btw), and often has no actual doctors/diagnostic tools available. it is incredibly difficult to get accurate, organized medical records. the portal website is very out dated and laggy. one of the ER doctors actually scolded me and walked out when i was sobbing in pain from a corneal ulcer that brought me via ambulance. one time at the ER, my oxygen dropped to 86%, and i was not given ox

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Beloit Clinic
What does Beloit Clinic do?
Beloit Clinic is a sleep medicine clinic in Beloit, WI that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Beloit Clinic?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Beloit Clinic directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Beloit Clinic?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Beloit Clinic?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
