We have had the best experience today on 6/11/2026. My dad had a procedure today. Front desk lady (wish they had more of her at every front desk across the world) was exceptionally sweet. The nurses in the back were very pleasant. The dr explained what he had done. We were sent upstairs for a 4 hour recovery. The nurses upstairs were very pleasant as well. His nurse was very thorough with him. She was awesome as well! I was at the kitchenette grabbing my dad some coffee I witnessed one of the nurses jump up and dart for a wheelchair to assist another patient. The patient was practicing her walk down the hall. The gentleman quickly made sure the patient had a wheelchair close in case she needed it. He was making sure she was safe! Kudos to all of you!

I was in there this evening and have to stay for three days minimum and I’ve been in the ER several times as it is very close to my home and I have an autoimmune disease so I’ve been there quite a few times in the past and I’ve always had great experiences there, but tonight has been the most pleasant experience due to my nurse Sam W. She is the sweetest, most knowledgeable nurse I’ve ever had in all of my experiences and all of the hospitals in the central Arkansas area. I wish she was my nurse every single time. I wish I could take her with me to all of my appointments I go, she’s absolutely the best. She’s young and I hope her career prospers fully, and I hope they take care of her there as an employee. She’s very valuable.

I love the bariatric clinic, Dr Bledsoe and his team but the ER is a different story. I had to go there tonight after having surgery 2 weeks ago and I had the rudest nurse her name was Angela she wouldn't let my mom come back there with me even though other people had their spouse or their loved one with them and she was rude to my 72 year old mother, threatened to call Security on her when my mother did not even raise her voice to her. I told them that I was allergic to morphine and they still tried to give it to me. I refused it. Dr Hinckley was nice but that ER nurse Angela she needs to find a different profession she has the worst bedside manner of any nurse I've ever encountered.

Clean facility, care is excellent and the staff is super nice and actually listen to you as if you were a human being in distress. As a quadriplegic, they made sure I was comfortable, treated my symptoms, and even fed me a choice of four different things plus a Dr. Pepper and cookies n cream cake for dessert. My new favorite Emergency Room!!! Dr. Hearne (I hope I'm spelling that right) kept me informed with updates and status of my blood work, test results, and treated my chronic pain. She educated me on possible causes and new solutions other Dr’s wouldn't have taken the time to tell me about. Five stars.

Wife went to the ER here due to mid abdominal pain and could not function. The doctor insisted, more or less, nothing was wrong. After doing a urine test and waiting for two hours my mother asked if anything was going to be done and the Dr said they were running the test still. Then when my mother suggested she could be having some type of a problem with her appendix or gallbladder the Dr said "we arent going to be doing this" then had them sign discharge paperwork and leave I would avoid these people at all costs. No one cares about you in the ER certainly.

Frequently asked questions about Arkansas Heart Hospital Sleep Center - Encore Medical Center

What does Arkansas Heart Hospital Sleep Center - Encore Medical Center do?

Arkansas Heart Hospital Sleep Center - Encore Medical Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Bryant, AR that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Arkansas Heart Hospital Sleep Center - Encore Medical Center?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Arkansas Heart Hospital Sleep Center - Encore Medical Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Arkansas Heart Hospital Sleep Center - Encore Medical Center?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Arkansas Heart Hospital Sleep Center - Encore Medical Center?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
