I had a fantastic experience with my procedure and wanted to recognize the outstanding team who took care of me. From the moment I arrived, Dawn, my nurse, was incredibly personable and immediately put me at ease. Her warm and caring demeanor helped calm any nerves I had and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Sheu was exceptional—kind, reassuring, and highly professional. He made me feel completely comfortable, and the entire experience was so smooth that it never felt like a procedure at all. I would also like to thank Brad and Nicole, who were both fantastic. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail helped make the experience truly outstanding. I am very grateful to the entire team for the excellent care I received and would highly recomme

I’ve been having mammograms at Western Reserve for about 6 years. I believe Rachael has done every single one of them! She has such a knack of making an uncomfortable procedure less awkward and as painless as possible. I appreciate always having her as a familiar face. Her professionalism, mannerisms, and kindness make it so much better! It’s a blessing to have Rachael as a constant in this department!

I had a great experience for an outpatient foot procedure at Western Reserve Hospital. We were greeted as we walked into the hospital and directed to where we needed to sign in. I was checked in promptly at the reception desk for outpatient surgery by a very warm and friendly receptionist. My nurse, Jimmy, was fantastic and quickly put me at ease. The anesthesia team did a wonderful job to make me comfortable during my surgery. Dr. Bennett explained how he was going to perform the procedure and patiently answered my questions. During recovery, I had another great nurse who helped me as I recovered in post op. I was very happy with my experience at Western Reserve Hospital and their entire team.

This is what healthcare and hospitals should be. I had hernia surgery with Dr. Gamma. From the check in person, to the nurse, to the anesthesiologist, to the recover nurse, as well as Dr. Gamma and everyone in between, they were kind, caring, friendly, compassionate, and up front about everything. I never felt rushed or like a number. I could not be happier. You are truly made to feel like you matter and everyone cared about you through the entire process. Highly, highly, highly recommended and incredibly thankful for the care and service I received here.

On July 2, 2026, I had several tests performed at Western Reserve Hospital. As a volunteer Healthcare Partner at Cleveland Clinic, I pay close attention to patient experiences, and I was truly impressed by the outstanding care I received. It's clear that patient satisfaction is a top priority at your hospital. Every employee I encountered made a positive impression. I would especially like to recognize the greeter who welcomed me at Door 5, the RN who performed my ultrasound, Victoria, the RN who conducted my stress test, and Kris, who monitored the test and took images of my heart. Each of them was professional, kind, and thorough in explaining every step of the process. They took the time to answer my many questions and address my concerns, helping me feel informed and at ease througho

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Western Reserve Hospital Sleep Center

What does Western Reserve Hospital Sleep Center do?

Western Reserve Hospital Sleep Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Cuyahoga Falls, OH that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Western Reserve Hospital Sleep Center?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Western Reserve Hospital Sleep Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Western Reserve Hospital Sleep Center?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Western Reserve Hospital Sleep Center?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
