I am so happy, super satisfied, excited, ecstatic, with the treatment, communication, honesty and dedication that was always given to me by stay and the memories on the employee that even without me talking, was able to remember who I was and my issues. If I could give a 100% rating and not a 5 I would and everyone doing their job to the tee.!!!!! Every other hospital even the sister buildings need some training from here. Love the healing process.

My husband and I have been here for nearly a month, and we cannot say enough positive things about the exceptional care we have received. Every staff member we have encountered—from the security and front desk team to housekeeping, social workers, dietary staff, nurses, CNAs, physicians, and surgeons—has demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to patient care. We are incredibly grateful for the support, education, and kindness shown to us throughout our stay. The high standard of care provided by this team has made a challenging time much easier to navigate. Thank you to everyone for your dedication and outstanding service, we wouldn’t be as far progressed without you all!

We recently transferred to Trinitas Hospital after receiving care at a large NYC hospital where, unfortunately, we did not see much progress. From the moment we arrived at Trinitas, the difference was clear. The doctors and nurses were truly exceptional—both highly skilled and deeply compassionate. They took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and treat us with genuine care and respect. It made an incredibly stressful situation so much more manageable. The nursing staff, in particular, deserve special recognition. They were attentive, patient, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure comfort and dignity. Whether it was responding quickly, offering reassurance, or simply showing kindness during difficult moments, their dedication did not go unnoticed. Their warmth and

I flew into Newark in may for a communion and after arriving I had difficulty breathing. I was scared and nervous to go to the hospital but knew I had to. I was brought to the emergency room and had emergency surgery and woke up from a coma 5 days later. I remember my first nurse Gus in the ICU who took care of me and was a crucial part in saving my life. I realized that I didn’t feel scared at all waking up in the hospital because the staff checked on me all the time and made sure I was ok. After 30 days in the hospital I have to say, I met the most incredible people who all said goodbye to me when I left where it was a joyful tearful moment for all of us. I also want to thank Mary from wound care, Cathy Beverly Abby. Nurses on 4 north, eddy, manny Karen, yamiry,Kathrine, joy, Maureen, su

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Trinitas Regional Medical Center

What does Trinitas Regional Medical Center do?

Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Elizabeth, NJ that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Trinitas Regional Medical Center?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Trinitas Regional Medical Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Trinitas Regional Medical Center?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Trinitas Regional Medical Center?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
