Dr Goff is nice and everything went well before and during surgery but after when I got switched to a room because I ended up having to stay overnight, I got several different nurses and most of them weren’t good. One gave me medicine I told her I already had 3 times and did not want and she pushed it thru so quick it felt like my arm was burning it hurt so badly I cried and she didn’t say anything to me before or after she just looked at me and left when she was finished. I didn’t know her name and she only came in that one time. Other nurses just seemed annoyed but some were really nice and helpful.

Dr. Amanda Miles took care of me throughout my entire pregnancy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. She was always knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring, and I felt completely confident in her care every step of the way. She also performed my C-section, and I am beyond grateful for her incredible surgical skill. My incision stopped hurting within the first month, and now, only six months later, the scar is already very thin, soft, and barely noticeable. It has faded beautifully, and I honestly never imagined a C-section scar could heal this well. Dr. Miles not only made the incision incredibly precise, but she also paid attention to the cosmetic result, and it truly shows. I am so thankful for everything she did for me and my baby. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Amanda

My grandfather came into the ER over the weekend for treatment of his primary complaint. Instead of receiving compassionate, patient-centered care, my family was immediately met with relentless pressure to place him on hospice. The physician looked at my grandmother and stated, “He wants to die. I can see it in his eyes. He needs to be on hospice.” Rather than presenting hospice as an option and allowing the patient and family time to consider an incredibly significant decision, she repeatedly attempted to coerce my grandmother into agreeing. When my grandmother asked for time to think, the physician became visibly frustrated and walked out of the room. Moments later, the hospice nurse named Cathrine entered and continued the pressure campaign. After my grandmother declined, she was told

I went to the ER. 8/10 pain (say 10/10 is getting shot in the kneecap)… and the nurse “didnt like my tone”. Very unprofessional i was sitting in that pain for hours and when i got there they kept asking me paperwork questions instead of dealing with the pain. After the CAT scan they said they couldnt find the issue but were assuming it was appendicitis and they wanted to take out my appendix. After they gave me morphine pain went away, and I fasted for a couple hours at this point, and I realized it was a bacteria imbalance. They kept insisting to take out my appendix after I told him I don’t think that was the problem. The pain was in my upper and lower stomach and never traveled over to my appendix and even with the CAT scan and not even 25% assurance they were willing to cut me open and

I requested a copy of my records from STW women’s Clinic due to a move. I have been seen in that office for over 20 years. My records showed crazy, inaccurate information in my entire patient history. It stated I had 2 full term births with c-sections. That was true. It also stated I had 0 living children (I have 2 from the before mentioned c-sections). It also noted that I had an induced abortion. Which NEVER HAPPENED. Through out my history it is mentioned multiple times I had no living children and had a an induced abortion. The care I received at the clinic was very good. BUT every person who saw me saw information about me that was untrue. The dates of the surgeries were also entered incorrectly. The lack of care showed when documenting my health history makes me question about the ov

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Stillwater Medical Center Sleep Lab

What does Stillwater Medical Center Sleep Lab do?

Stillwater Medical Center Sleep Lab is a sleep medicine clinic in Stillwater, OK that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Stillwater Medical Center Sleep Lab?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Stillwater Medical Center Sleep Lab directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Stillwater Medical Center Sleep Lab?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Stillwater Medical Center Sleep Lab?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
