While in Helena Montana to attend a wedding I got sick. I was in a lot of pain so I broke down and went to the doctor. This clinic was super fast and efficient. All the staff from the lady who checked me in to the doctor herself were so kind and caring. They even had a pharmacy in the lobby. That made it so convenient to get my prescription filled. I wish we had this kind of service in Idaho where I live.

I debated on leaving this review but after much consideration I think it’s a must. yesterday, March 5, I took a client of mine to St. Pete’s neurology department. I do private home health and I’m 25 years into this line of work. Patient care is extremely important to me and I feel very passionate about it. That is why I decided to share this experience we had yesterday. As most Helena locals know, we have had Dr. Clark as the main Neurologist until recently. Yesterday we were going in to see Dr. Tullar who is the PA. I Will add that he was extremely helpful and professional towards my client who has Parkinson’s disease. We think very highly of Dr. Tullar. My client has dealt with this disease for more than 20 years. Unfortunately, the Parkinson’s affects so many parts of her daily living.

I came in this morning and was greeted by Bella for bloodwork. Bella was absolutely wonderful, efficient and wonderful personality and I was in and out in 6-8 minutes! She’s the best employee I’ve had the pleasure getting labs from! Also the initial needle poke wasn’t even noticeable and gave me feedback when results should be ready! 10 stars

If you’re looking to wait in the ER after you have been transported from your regular doctor to urgent care who said the only option was to go to the ER and wait in the waiting room for a few hours while you’re on the verge of sepsis you’ve come to the right place!Plus they will charge you thousands of dollars and come back 6 months later saying you owe even more! We need better choices in this town for hospitals

Dr. Sanders performed a surgical procedure at st peters hospital on me. His bedside manner is poor. He's not personable, friendly and not very detailed at informing you of stuff. He doesn't seem like he actually cares about the patient. After my surgery, he didn't come see me after anesthesia wore off and tell me how the procedure went. Or what to expect going forward. He supposedly called my husband, but didnt even identify himself. My husband thought it was a nurse calling. There were no post op care instructions or discharge instructions left by the doctor at the hospital. The nurses at st peters hospital were scrambling around trying to figure out how to discharge me without any instructions. This is completely upsetting, unprofessional and unacceptable. Dr. Sanders also wouldn't presc

For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Frequently asked questions about St. Peter’s Health Sleep Center
What does St. Peter’s Health Sleep Center do?
St. Peter’s Health Sleep Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Helena, MT that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at St. Peter’s Health Sleep Center?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact St. Peter’s Health Sleep Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at St. Peter’s Health Sleep Center?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at St. Peter’s Health Sleep Center?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
