To all present and future customers of Sleepwell…. My experience with this organization has been first class from. The customer service representative reached out to me promptly and organized my services promptly and professionally. The second phase of said service was equally so. The field service representative was timely, precise with unit instructions and very personable. I felt very comfortable throughout the process. The engagement ended with me feeling pleased to have Sleepwell as my service provider. Well done Sleepwell management. Sincerely, RB

I had a great experience at SleepWell. It all started with the warm greeting from Madison when walking through the door. She made me feel right at home, she answered all my questions, and provided a professional atmosphere. Sam Blase was also a nice guy… very knowledgeable with the products, and always willing to answer questions. Overall, I’ll give SleepWell a 10.

Honestly, in-person experience wasn't the best for me, I went into the office because my first experience trying to use the C-Pap machine about 18 months ago wasn't the best. This time I came into the office to have someone walk me through various masks and basically give me a refresher. The Rep that I met with almost had a "condescending" tone and his energy was not pleasant, very dry and at times I felt like he made me feel stupid when I would ask basic questions. Definitely didn't find his customer service/patient facing skill sets to be inviting. I was ready to get out of there as quickly as I could because he made me feel uncomfortable, the best way to describe it is this: the type of teacher you had in a class and you asked a question and he/she spent a few seconds looking at you l

Technician that came out and said my machine and hose up was very thorough explaining from how much water to put in the tank To cleaning the device thoroughly. He showed me how to take the machine apart, clean, clean the nose piece and gave a couple of tips. The machine worked better than I’ve ever expect a C-pap machine to function. Anyone needing a CPAP machine or company to supply and support I give Sleepwell five stars.

Well trained employees. This was my first visit and all went well. No waiting time, in and out 45 minutes. My training on the new machine was great. I’ve had no problems- downloaded the App- the reading seems correct- I’m sleeping better.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Sleepwell

What does Sleepwell do?

Sleepwell is a sleep medicine clinic in Marietta, GA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Sleepwell?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Sleepwell directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Sleepwell?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Sleepwell?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
