Life changing, not only for sleep but in life. I think differently and react/respond differently. Everyone I worked with was amazing. I loved how they didn't necessarily tell you what to do but more often helped you to figure out what to do. I had suffered from insomnia for many years and didn't know how much my thoughts were affecting my sleep! There were so many tools to try and I still keep a lot of them nearby so I don't slip again. I love that the support videos are available to me for a lifetime! Some of them I have listened to at least four times. I share this program with many others and have even used some of the tools to help my grandchildren with their fears and anxiety. Thanks Devin and Stacy!

I can’t recommend Sleep Science Academy enough. When I first reached out and inquired about the program, I was in a really desperate place. I had been struggling terribly with sleep, and the anxiety surrounding sleep had completely taken over my life. After getting paired with my sleep coach Emily, working through the modules, and attending the weekly meetings, things slowly started to change. It definitely took some time and consistency, but my sleep is now nearly perfect again. One of the biggest things this program helped me with was not just improving my sleep itself, but improving my anxiety around sleep. Having one-on-one support from the coaches was incredibly helpful, but honestly the group meetings were just as impactful. Hearing what worked for other people, what didn’t, and re

I had been struggling with sleep for many years. I had tried many different programs, supplements and over-the-counter sleep aids, but I wanted to avoid use of prescription sleep medicines. I was so overjoyed when I found the Sleep Science Academy and within weeks I was able to actually experience what feeling "sleepy" felt like again. Now I am able to enjoy restful sleep and I feel so refreshed and invigorated when I wake up ! So grateful to the entire team, especially to my coach, Kyle.

I have been dealing with insomnia for decades and have tried everything under the sun. Nothing worked. The Sleep Science Academy approach deals with the many different factors that cause insomnia and if you work on dealing with those factors you will most definitely see the difference but the key is taking the advice in the program and applying it. It's not a quick fix. It takes effort and time. It's all up to you. I still have a long way to go but I have noticed a big difference in my sleep quality. You have to work the program and your sleep quality will take care of itself. I highly recommend the Sleep Science Academy.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Sleep Science Academy
What does Sleep Science Academy do?
Sleep Science Academy is a sleep medicine clinic in Delray Beach, FL that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Sleep Science Academy?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Sleep Science Academy directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Sleep Science Academy?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Sleep Science Academy?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
