Excellent experience! Cameron was a great Technician. He was kind, explained every step of the process, and answered my few questions. I surprised myself in getting a good sleep without needing to get up as I usually do. By appointment started at 9:30 PM, wired-up by 10:15, asleep by 10:45 (est), and awakened at 5:15 AM that the test was completed. The room was very clean, quiet, with its own sink, toilet, and shower. The bed was comfortable and the room dark. Very conducive for a good night's rest. I highly recommend St. Francis Sleep Center for your sleep study.

MUSKOGEE LOCATION Where do I begin? I was sent home with a sleep study device that appeared to have not been properly cleaned in a very long time—if ever. The body strap had visible buildup and was so unsanitary that I immediately removed it and washed it myself with bleach. The device, cords, and oxygen monitoring equipment were all dirty and clearly not in a condition I felt comfortable placing on my body or bringing into my bed. As someone who is very conscientious about cleanliness and infection prevention, this was extremely concerning. Before using the equipment, I personally cleaned and disinfected everything. I even wrapped the device and leads in plastic and stored them in sealed bags because I was worried about possible contamination, including pests such as bed bugs. The enti

I would like to give them 5 stars because I really enjoyed my first visit and really felt heard. After waiting a month for my sleep study, I was called 30 minutes from the original appointment time to be told my time was changed to 8:30 pm instead of 9:30 pm. I was 10 minutes away and drove from collinsville through ice and snow to make my appointment. The worst part is I took off work from seeing my patients to make this appointment, and I hadn't taken my medication in 7 days. My lunchbox and backpack were packed. This was extremely disappointing. The woman on the phone said that I would be called the next day. I am ,however, glad that I did not pay the estimated balance in full today.

Had a great visit here for my sleep study!! They kept all the main lights out and the Nurse was so extremely helpful and so compassionate and nice! It was really quiet, but not TOO quiet! Lol Very knowledgeable staff all around. Also, the Center was super clean and comfortable. I was pretty nervous about having to do the study to begin with, but the Nurse put me right at ease immediately. Very appreciative.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Sleep Disorders Center of Saint Francis Hospital
What does Sleep Disorders Center of Saint Francis Hospital do?
Sleep Disorders Center of Saint Francis Hospital is a sleep medicine clinic in Tulsa, OK that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Sleep Disorders Center of Saint Francis Hospital?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Sleep Disorders Center of Saint Francis Hospital directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Sleep Disorders Center of Saint Francis Hospital?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Sleep Disorders Center of Saint Francis Hospital?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
