I brought my 13 year old in to the er at 1030 pm on 01/16. He needed stitches for hitting a coffee table wrestling w his younger brother. He sat in that room bleeding for 20 minutes before anyone even took my towel off his head. They then put a cream on that had to sit for 20 minutes to numb it. He sat there for over an HOUR AND A HALF before the dr comes in and says yep he needs stitches. But I also want a CT. He got the CT right away. Another 30 minutes passes. CT looks fine. Now we can stitch him. At this point he's been sitting with this cream still bleeding for 2 hours. It wasn't busy in that er. One other person was in a room next to us. Either take care of your emergency patients or get someone who can. This is my CHILD! Who also went out to the desk and asked if a doctor could help

I usually go to Sauk Prairie hospital, but the order for an MRI got sent to Reedsburg instead. I figured it would be the same. Big mistake. The bill i got was double that of Sauk Prairie hospital for the same service. I asked the billing department if they could help lower my bill for a cash payment because my bill was so high. They wouldn't do that, but offered a company that I could make payments to. So instead of giving me a break on my bill, they sell it off to a third party payment service for a reduced cost and the patient has to pay the full amount. That shows me that Reedsburg Hospital doesn't care about their patients. Instead they want to see a third party payment service make money instead of giving their patients a break and save some money. That will be the last time I ever go

My family and I had a great experience at the hospital. We just added another addition to our family. The birth center and all the members of the hospital worked as a great team and made our experience amazing!

I recently had cataract surgery performed on me by Dr. Bull at RAMC. I am very pleased with the result as I am not wearing glasses for the first time in 60 years, going back to when I was in fifth grade. In fall of 2024 I went for an eye exam and new glasses were prescribed. However I ended up getting quintuple heart bypass surgery on Dec. 2, and thus put off ordering new glasses until spring. My vision in 2024 was off enough it was getting difficult for me to read road and street signs until I was right on top of them. My night vision was reaching the point I avoided driving after dark whenever I could. I had been told of developing cataracts several years earlier. After getting my new glasses in May, I didn’t notice any improvement in my vision. Over the summer it seemed to get worse as

For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Reedsburg Area Medical Center Sleep Center
What does Reedsburg Area Medical Center Sleep Center do?
Reedsburg Area Medical Center Sleep Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Reedsburg, WI that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Reedsburg Area Medical Center Sleep Center?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Reedsburg Area Medical Center Sleep Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Reedsburg Area Medical Center Sleep Center?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Reedsburg Area Medical Center Sleep Center?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
