Had massive issues ,seemed like it was the big one. I was nearby and the good people brought me here. The people figured it out in minutes.i walked out(very slowly)under my own power. The diagnosis was accurate so was the treatment plan. I am alive today because of the ER staff and ICU. All the people were professional and curteous. They made me feel as i was their ownly patient.

I had an excellent experience delivering at BirthPlace at Pullman Regional Hospital. I went through a long medical induction and the entire staff was amazing from start to finish. The night shift and day shift nurses were all awesome - attentive, kind, and incredibly supportive. They consistently checked in, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I always felt like I was in good hands and truly cared for. The doctors who rounded were also very informative and took the time to answer questions and explain everything in a way that helped ease a lot of stress as first time parents. Lactation support was incredible as well. Laura was the sweetest soul and so encouraging. When my baby had difficulty latching, she really supported me and help

My family doctor is here. The doctors I've had (Thompson & Shonk specifically) are knowledgeable and helpful. I gave birth to my son at Birthplace here, and it was a lovely experience. The nurses are so attentive and kind. I just attended the breastfeeding support group that the hospital offers and it was so reassuring. The lactation consultant Lara and intern Genie were so professional and sweet. They were really reassuring and helped me feel a lot better about my situation. Overall, this hospital is really good. It's the best hospital I've been to.

We had an outstanding experience at the ER today. The team was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. The staff member at the front counter in the emergency room took time during a short lull between patients to explain how her personal insulin pump works — she showed the pods, walked us through how they function, and even demonstrated the app on her phone. We were looking for information to help a family member after a diabetic situation earlier in the day, and her kindness and willingness to share her knowledge made a huge difference. Thank you to the whole team for the exceptional care and compassion! Highly recommended!

I've received such good care at PRH and am happy to say this hospital and its staff are awesome! From Jamie, our ultrasound tech with both of my kids - who was professional, fun, and caring - to the nurses in Birthplace who were patient, informative, and truly advocated for me and made me and my babies feel genuinely cared for. I can't recall all of their names but Sarah G. and Kinsey were definitely among the stellar team that worked with us. So many other teams and members in other departments! Also, whoever is doing marketing - Love It! The "If you remember..." signs with Lisa Frank, starter jackets, and beanie babies has had me chuckling but also caught my attention and made me realize I need to pay attention to preventive care I may need. Now I think of it every time I see one of thos

For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Pullman Regional Hospital
What does Pullman Regional Hospital do?
Pullman Regional Hospital is a sleep medicine clinic in Pullman, WA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Pullman Regional Hospital?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Pullman Regional Hospital directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Pullman Regional Hospital?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Pullman Regional Hospital?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
