I cannot recommend Garrett and the entire team at ProHealth Medicine highly enough. For the past four years, Garrett has been my trusted healthcare provider for BioTE hormone pellet therapy, and the level of care, expertise, and attention he provides is truly exceptional. As a certified BioTE provider, he takes the time to thoroughly evaluate every aspect of my health, carefully explain treatment options, and ensure that my care is personalized to my individual needs. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine compassion set him apart from any practitioner I have worked with. What I appreciate most is that Garrett never makes me feel rushed. He listens attentively, answers every question with patience, and consistently goes above and beyond to help me achieve optimal health and wellness

I’ve been going to Dr. Garrett for the past five or more years and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He’s helped me with a variety of concerns and I’ve consistently had great results. Garrett is incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to truly listen and creates treatment plans that feel personalized rather than one size fits all. His professionalism, compassion and genuine commitment make every visit a positive experience. I’m grateful for the exceptional care I’ve received over the years and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality, personalized care.

The short version: I've probably been to approximately 20 chiropractors, physical therapists, and so on in the Los Angeles area. This place is not only the most cost effective, but has the most knowledgeable practitioners I have ever come across. The longer version: Back in 2023 I suffered an injury while training combat sports that left me practically bedridden. I saw a ton of doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturist, specialists, etc etc No one could figure it out or give me relief By chance, a friend of mine recommended ProHealth. Not only did they diagnose the issue in about 5 minutes, but 15 minutes after stepping through the door I was pain free. I've been a customer ever since and I have only become more and more impressed. The customer service is on point, everyone there is supe

I am posting this to document a serious concern regarding Pro Health Physical Medicine’s BioTE pellet insertion practices. Both my father and I previously received BioTE pellets from another provider with consistently positive results and without these types of problems. We sought treatment at this office only because our previous provider became unavailable and this office was listed publicly as a BioTE provider. Before treatment, I specifically asked twice whether the office was in fact using genuine BioTE brand pellets, and I was told yes. However, based on the outcome and the surrounding circumstances, I have serious reason to question whether that representation was accurate. Following pellet insertion at this office, neither my father nor I experienced the same beneficial response

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about ProHealth Physical Medicine

What does ProHealth Physical Medicine do?

ProHealth Physical Medicine is a sleep medicine clinic in Studio City, CA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at ProHealth Physical Medicine?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact ProHealth Physical Medicine directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at ProHealth Physical Medicine?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at ProHealth Physical Medicine?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
