I had two 5 minute visits at this establishment And was billed $500 per visit totaling $1000 for 10 minutes with the doctor (Quite an hourly rate!). When I explained to billing what a hardship this was it fell on deaf ears. I had to take money out of my retirement to pay for this visit. On top of it all - to add insult to injury, the doctor told me I was fine and I am not. I do not recommend this establishment and I also suggest if one of the doctors is reading this, he should check in with his billing staff.

They offer many services right in same office but refuse to give the test needed while being seen. Not very urgent or caring of them. Very short and dismissive. Felt I couldn't speak without being cut off and talked over. Been suffering for 5 months with dizziness and daily migraines so I've done plenty of research of my symptoms and they do not want to hear it! I wasn't trying to self diagnose but told them I believe having vestibular migraines. Eyes were rolled and they did not look into it. Said "wow your story sounds interesting to me". Well this is not some made up story this is real life facts. I am suffering! I feel being an urgent care center and with symptoms lasting 5 months really impacting my life, they should have been more proactive. Been there twice and they have done nothin

I have been dizzy for a year and a half now. Last year I went to Plymouth ear nose and throat for help. They diagnosed me with Ménière’s disease, even though I had never had a vertigo attack (just constant dizziness 24/7). I also had a CT scan and MRI showing no fluid in the middle ear (another characteristic of Menieres). They put me on several medications that made me feel much worse. I tried the diet (no alcohol/caffeine and low sodium) and told them it made no difference. I was told “coffee can help because it’s a diuretic” contradicting the recommended diet they suggested I follow in the last appointment. I questioned my diagnosis many times and another possibility wasn’t even considered. They just kept telling me there’s no cure. Thank goodness I got a second opinion finally. I was d

I have been going here for allergy shots for about 3 yrs. The nurses are great! However over the 3 yrs I believe they have over charged me quite a bit. Unfortunately it took me a bit to catch on. I recently canceled my February and March appointments a week prior to my February appt. They put in a claim to my insurance for my February appt after I canceled it and had a co-pay due on my account for said appointment. If you go here for treatment keep an eye on your co pays and billing. Keep all your receipts!

I have been a patient for several years. I give my highest recommendation for Nate Murray, PA-C. He has provided exceptional care. He is knowledgeable, gives clear explanations of treatment options, and genuinely cares about his patients. I have seen him for regularly scheduled visits, as well as same day urgent care appointments. Each time I am impressed with the care and consideration I am given, and leave with a positive plan to address my specific concern.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat
What does Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat do?
Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat is a sleep medicine clinic in Plymouth, MA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
