Hospital has been under construction since I moved to Wyoming in the 90's. What a dump. Handicapped have to walk all the way across the parking lot, enter the hospital, walk all the way across the hospital across uneven under construction floor to the elevator, then walk across to the check in desk. They argue about the orders. They argue about payment. No one is listening or reading the orders as written. X-ray tech said it was good I kept the paperwork because check in wrote the orders down wrong. Check in said they were overworked. I have heard this every single time I have been at this hospital. How can it be under construction for over 30 years and there is no improvements? It looks the same, smells the same, floors are hodge podged together. Same creaky elevators with new linoleum. I

Mona Nesrallah is a horrible rude person. Was sent by her Dr. Then told she doesnt have any problems. Was rude to my wife. Drove all the way to Douglas for 5 min. Better not get a bill. Didn't do any exam at all. Dont recommend at all.

If we could give Dr Vuava a negative 100 rating it would certainly apply. Without having all medical testing done, he rudely and bluntly told my family member she was terminal and there was nothing they would do for her. The manner in which he said this was rude, disrespectful and without any human kindness.

We went to Douglas hospital for pregnancy bcuz we only heard bad things abt Casper’s facility. I highly recommend to go out of this state or anywhere else than here for anything related to pregnancy. On Tuesday we were called in bcuz it was a “emergency” when my lady’s cervix was hard as a rock and wasn’t even dialated. So they started pumping her full of drugs to soften her cervix. And no we didn’t have an option or even get to talk abt it. We should’ve been sent home that night. But they continued to soften her cervix and then after 24 hours of that they finally broke her water…. It didn’t break freely…. Than they forced her into a epidural bcuz it was “easier” and “faster” than teying for a natural birth. Gave her the epidural and then told her she couldn’t move or walk or anything and

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Memorial Hospital of Converse County

What does Memorial Hospital of Converse County do?

Memorial Hospital of Converse County is a sleep medicine clinic in Douglas, WY that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Memorial Hospital of Converse County?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Memorial Hospital of Converse County directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Memorial Hospital of Converse County?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Memorial Hospital of Converse County?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
