I recently lost my equipment in a house fire. Not one word of empathy from any employee until I pointed out that not one person had said I'm so sorry..let me see what we can do. Instead they told me it would take 6 weeks to get a medically necessary device that allows me to breathe at night. They will claim I was swearing at them i was not swearing at them i said the process was fing ridiculous. This after they would not transfer me to a supervisor and then said i would have to pay cash to get a new device. I never raised my voice, but was matter of fact and assertive to see what they could do to help me. Not one person thought outside of their scripted responses to say, let's run it through your insurance and see. A little bit of empathy goes a long way. Going outside of your proverbial b

My husband has been a patient with this company since May 2026, and unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. He completed an at-home ring sleep test and was ultimately provided with a CPAP machine. Yet since beginning this process in May, he has not once had the opportunity to actually speak with a doctor to review his sleep study results, explain the findings, discuss his diagnosis, or go over his treatment options. He was told, you have Sleep apnea and you need to use a CPAP. The CPAP machine has been troublesome for him and is something he cannot comfortably use. He called the facility specifically requesting to speak with a doctor and was actually asked why he needed to speak with one. He explained that he wanted either a phone call or an appointment with the d

Medigy is amazing! Their team cares and has wonderful customer service. Amy was my first point of contact. She walked me through the different types of machines and what might work best for me. She was so helpful. Their office called me to schedule a class with Jamlah. I went to the class and it was GREAT. Jamlah is so knowledgeable about apnea and the equipment. This is the first company I have known that offers training. Jamlah went over everything in detail. Gave different TIPS. Wonderful class! My CPAP is working great and I am starting to get used to it The follow-up after the class is the BEST customer service I have ever had. Jamlah kept in contact with me asking if I needed anything, had any questions and told me how I was doing on my progress. She is the BEST! I will

My virtual review was excellent. Brittany was so nice and welcoming and it made the session enjoyable. Everything was explained in detail on how to use and care for my APAP. Brittany would always ask me if I had any questions and made sure that everything that was being explained was understood. Thank you for your help and with the advice. I really feel positive about my sleep therapy.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Medigy

What does Medigy do?

Medigy is a sleep medicine clinic in Fort Worth, TX that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Medigy?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Medigy directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Medigy?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Medigy?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
