I am extremely disappointed with the care my brother received in the critical care unit. He has significant mental health challenges and is unable to advocate for himself or communicate effectively. Learning that he was bathed using ice-cold water was deeply upsetting, and I personally saw the container of ice that was used. Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and basic human respect—especially those who are most vulnerable and unable to speak for themselves. This experience has left our family questioning the level of empathy and professionalism shown by the staff involved. I sincerely hope the hospital investigates this incident and reinforces appropriate standards of patient care so that no other patient is treated this way.

Arrived 7/23/26 for an ultrasound at main hospital. Was told to arrive 8:30 for a 9am appointment. Waited 50 minutes for imaging. The ultrasound tech had zero personality and zero ability to make you feel reassured with her skill. When she told me to lay my legs flat on the bed, I told her I have back problems and need a pillow under my knees in order to lie flat. She completely ignored me on my first 2 requests. At my 3rd request, she said there are no pillows. When I suggested she could get one from outside the room, she said there were no extra pillows. When I asked if she understands what I’m saying about my back issues, she threw a fit and yelled at me “don’t talk to me like that.” I had to ask for a manager who immediately brought 2 pillows and stayed in the room. The imaging took o

I had surgery March 31 of this year. I would like to thank all the staff for a wonderful experience at Jupiter Medical Center. I am so grateful for Dr. Sayegh, who performed my surgery. I am in the healthcare myself, and have to say your staff from pre op to PACU as well as discharge were all outstanding!!! I want to thank Melissa my pre op nurse, she keep me informed and at ease ! Firing on the other side isn’t easy and she surely made me very comfortable and made me feel safe! I wish I could remember all my nurses and ancillary names. If I ever need surgery again, I know it will be at Jupiter Medical Center!

I loved this hospital. They delivered my daughter and they saved my life. The nurses, doctors, security officers, housekeeping staff, and everyone I encountered treated me so kindly and made me feel safe during one of the scariest moments of my life. They not only gave me my daughter, but they gave her her mom. I will never forget the care I received here. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Jupiter Medical Center
What does Jupiter Medical Center do?
Jupiter Medical Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Jupiter, FL that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Jupiter Medical Center?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Jupiter Medical Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Jupiter Medical Center?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Jupiter Medical Center?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
