My Dr. my surgeon, Dr. Rosen, was awesome. His bed side manner is awesome in neurology. His staff is awesome.I wish there were more doctors like him. As I say, the doctor is awesome. 100%, a caring loving doctor BUT ER is Horrible!!!. Horrible!!!. The nurses need to go back to the beginning. Their bedside MANOR. is awful, awful for one of the worst hospitals for NURSES!!!!!. ER nurses talk to you like you're nothing the don't ask for help Oh my God. To them, everyone is a drug addict. They treat you like drug addicts. I try my best not to go to the E! R. Because of the nurses I'd rather go to a urgent care before I go to them, I have to call my doctor and he will call me in and let them know that he called me in.. They need to go back to the beginning bedside manner , treat people how you

Everyone I know has has a crappy experience here, but sometimes when it's the closest hospital you just go and hope for the best. I was having gulbladder attacks and was in the absolute worst pain of my life. I didn't know what it was at the time but I was ready to die than be in that pain any longer. I went in and told them I was in excruciating pain and they took their sweet time to see me. They ended up putting me in a hallway with curtains for doors where they left me for hours. I was begging for a pain relief or any kind of help. I was walking in circles in the room just sobbing. No one came to help or would say they'd be back before I never saw them again. By the time they even really looked at me, my gulbladder had stopped flaring up because it has been so many hours. They basically

Just had emergency ankle surgery here and the staff was causing pain before I ever got into the operating room. I broke it Wednesday and the surgeon wanted to go to his usual trenton location but the OR had no availability in the next week so I was stuck coming here. I am not sure if Colleen was the nurse's name (bigger set woman) but she should not be working the floor as a nurse. I had been in constant pain for days and this woman didn't seem to know how to put an iv in the hand. She struggled as the other nurse asked if she got it and said yes but clearly didnt. She was digging around in my hand and got blood all over and then had another nurse bring her a piece for blood withdrawl because she forgot. It was the most painful IV I have ever had put in. Then after surgery she put me in a

I spent a couple of nights in this hospital for a gallbladder removal procedure and I just wanted to thank the nurses, Talisha, Lucy, and Angela, and all others who have helped me for their extremely attentive and kind service while looking over for me. I felt like I was well attended and provided with the care that I needed. Thank you to all the staff who make this hospital run, as well as the extremely talented doctors and surgeons who operated on me!

For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital - Pulmonary Clinc
What does Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital - Pulmonary Clinc do?
Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital - Pulmonary Clinc is a sleep medicine clinic in Wyandotte, MI that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital - Pulmonary Clinc?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital - Pulmonary Clinc directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital - Pulmonary Clinc?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital - Pulmonary Clinc?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
