I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from your office. We had a consultation in December and were advised that we would receive a follow-up call. As of today, 2/4/26, we never received that call. I contacted your office today only to be told that I now need to complete another consultation for an allergy colonoscopy. This delay and lack of follow-through has caused unnecessary frustration and inconvenience.

Worst doctor and doctor visit in my 71 years. Dr. Badi had no clue why I was there to see him, spent 95% of his time talking to the student doctor and 5% to me. HIs office was sent the results of my sleep study twice before my visit and while I was there and Dr. Badi showed no interest in reviewing and talkking ablut the results. Dr. Badi also ordered a meaningless alergy test that came back negative. Two follow-up visits resulted in charges for seervices over the quoted amount so buyer beware: get quotes in writing. Substandard medical care at high prices. Stay away from this practice.

Dr. Badi is a wonderful physician. He took the time to explain my visits in great detail. He has a warm presence, making the atmosphere comfortable and approachable. Dr. Badi demonstrates great expertise and helped me figure out what my sleep issues are. I am grateful to have been referred to him.

This clinic has given me hell. I’ve called countless times due to inability to return calls, call in scripts, and provide documentation. When they finally did get back to me, I was charged $75 just to get a letter explaining why I’m on Ambien. Dr. Badi is extremely rude and condescending. His medical assistant Yelsi also has a terrible attitude. I’ve wasted so much money and time on this clinic. They’re absolutely terrible. I do not recommend. I do recommend Dr. Farah - 8230 walnut hill lane, Dallas.

Dr. Badi is an amazing doctor! I've been seeing him for about two years now. He's one of only a few doctors trained as both an ENT and also in sleep medicine, making him uniquely qualified to solve sleep apnea issues. I wouldn't trust anyone else with anything that requires a highly experienced and skilled ENT surgeon.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about ENT & Sleep Medicine of Dallas
What does ENT & Sleep Medicine of Dallas do?
ENT & Sleep Medicine of Dallas is a sleep medicine clinic in Dallas, TX that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at ENT & Sleep Medicine of Dallas?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact ENT & Sleep Medicine of Dallas directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at ENT & Sleep Medicine of Dallas?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at ENT & Sleep Medicine of Dallas?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
