From scheduling to the coffee waiting on me in the morning, I could not have imagined a better experience. The staff made me feel comfortable, the facility was clean and neat and I felt completely relaxed throughout the testing. Thanks Durant Sleep for making a medical test not feel so “cold and sterile.” The personable service I received was a welcome change to the typical Hospital setting. Would definitely recommend this facility for sleep testing!

I only gave one star because I can’t give zero. This facility is a joke. My doctor sent the order over for a sleep study and they never called me. Weeks later I finally went to the facility and got lucky that someone was there. Finally I got an appointment. When I went to the appointment they said they had a wrong order from my doctor. I had to come back after they got that fixed. Finally I go for the study. I had to be there at 8:30 pm. I was not completely hooked up until after midnight. They woke me at 4:30 am to go home. This was in November, 2021. By February, 2022 I still had no results. I couldn’t get someone to answer the phone or return my call. I finally called Medicare and spoke with someone about it. She was not happy about this. They had been paid months earlier with no res

My doc sent the order over and the office personnel reached out to me for scheduling. The beds were nice and the process went smoothly. Results were at my next doctor's appointment. The study results helped my doctor properly diagnose me. Getting better every day. Thanks Durant Sleep Diagnostics!!!

Worthless facility. If your Doctor asks you to go here, ask to be sent elsewhere. This place is nothing but incompetent, and I'm sure it's a fraudulent facility. Here's my story, which I also used to file a complaint to the OK Medical Board against this facility. -In late Jan 2021, my Internist sent an order for an MSLT. -Early Feb in the afternoon, they called me and said the order was not for an MSLT, but for a sleep study, and they will get with the doctor to correct the order. -In the middle of March at a visit to my Internist, I was given the order that was sent to the facility Jan, and it was for indeed an MSLT. After repeated calls over the next few days, and at the end of March, I was finally scheduled for my study for early April. -The next day I received a call back to advise t

This place is a joke. Been a month and no results. A different person will call back every time with an excuse, if they even call. I've had to send nasty emails to get a response. They have also deleted all negative reviews since my original complaint.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Durant Sleep Diagnostics
What does Durant Sleep Diagnostics do?
Durant Sleep Diagnostics is a sleep medicine clinic in Durant, OK that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Durant Sleep Diagnostics?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Durant Sleep Diagnostics directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Durant Sleep Diagnostics?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Durant Sleep Diagnostics?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
