I hope you don't actually need to see a Dr! Took 10 weeks to get an apt. Then 3 weeks before the apt, they call and say a Dr won't be in that day and push me out an additional 6 weeks! 4 MONTHS before even being able to see a Dr. Ridiculous. Go to South Bend, you can actually get an apt and get help.

I have to give five stars until I see otherwise, because my daughter had a doctor there I want to say Dr Aaron but I could be wrong on a name anyway, he was her first doctor since she was 4 years old, recently though they had children so he is no longer servicing there as of I think six months to a year ago give or take, anyway he was very good We liked him a lot, although recent appointments with the new female doctor We are not too sure, Dr Aaron knew everything about my daughter and what was going on and this new doctor that's seeing my child according to my child is not very gentle when cleaning the ears (which my daughter has had this done her whole life with Dr Aaron and we loved him He was very gentle considerate and understandable) This new female doctor that my daughter is seeing

Three different issues of dissatisfaction with this office and doctor! Issue One: office procedures and management are below standard. I tried to make an appointment but it was a two month wait I then ask to be put on a call list and was told they don’t have a calling list and this was the girls’s exact words “ we don’t have waiting list because our patients don’t bother calling in to cancel appointments they just don’t show up “. At that point, I made an appointment which was two months out. Issue 2: I had been suffering with severe pain in my ear for months and months. Finally, when I got to see the doctor, he looked in my ear for a quick second, told me it looked fine. Prescribed a muscle relaxer and told me it was my teeth and come back in 2 weeks. Issue 3; The morning of my appointme

We love it here! My daughter’s audiologist recommended Dr. Judge when she was diagnosed with hearing loss as a baby, saying that he loved working with babies and kids. We’ve been coming here for several years now and love Dr. Judge and the whole team and staff. The front desk team is very kind and helpful. All of the nurses have been very friendly. Everyone we have worked with has been personable, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to answer all of our questions. We see Dr. Judge four times a year and he especially goes above and beyond to help my daughter feel comfortable, build a relationship with us, and makes the whole visit a pleasant and fun one for her. We highly recommend!

$2,800 for tubes for both my children and worst customer service. We’ve had months of frustration working with this office but we were desperate for tubes asap after my son was on his 5th ear infection. *Dr. Judge and his surgery team were fantastic. This review is about the staff at the offices that deal with scheduling, consultation, and follow up* Scheduling and communication took 2 weeks because the nurse (the only person who could schedule tubes for Dr. Judge) was working remotely and calling from a private number that my iphone wouldn’t allow me to answer. Her call came up as spam from Malaysia and would go straight to my voicemail. Despite me calling the main desk back immediately and explaining what was happening, they told me she would call me back. Then a few days later she

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Corewell Health Ear, Nose and Throat - St. Joseph

What does Corewell Health Ear, Nose and Throat - St. Joseph do?

Corewell Health Ear, Nose and Throat - St. Joseph is a sleep medicine clinic in St Joseph, MI that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Corewell Health Ear, Nose and Throat - St. Joseph?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Corewell Health Ear, Nose and Throat - St. Joseph directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Corewell Health Ear, Nose and Throat - St. Joseph?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Corewell Health Ear, Nose and Throat - St. Joseph?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
