I am a patient of CRMC. Have been since we moved her 15 yrs ago. That being said we are considering moving all our medical out of Coffee County. When you have a MRI appoint and go in and they say they can’t do it because of lack of info…having spoken to ‘someone several times’ letting them know I had a pacemaker, I didn’t hold back when she ‘Rhonda’ was explaining it was not communicated to her. Said they need to retrain people! Seriously? You try living in my body and wanting answers. The MRI was ordered by a neurologist in Waycross. Because she is the closest one Referral. I should have been on alert when they told me in Waycross, that CRMH isn’t very cooperative with them when it comes to scheduling. Not acceptable. I did my part! I called ahead and asked imaging if everyt

The SLOWEST and most over crowded hospital around. This is our second time here in two weeks and both times were terrible! Waiting room packed, the inner waiting room packed, the hallways lined with sick people in chairs, because no rooms were available. Both times we have waited over 5 hours just to be seen, not in a room yet, still in the main waiting area. People are ordering door-dash they have been here so long. Some have left to go to other hospitals. Its really ridiculous. I get ER's you expect a wait, but not to this extent. The inner waiting area looks like a third world country, people just slumped everywhere. They have signs stating "our patients are important ".... well they sure don't make you feel that way. Everywhere I look, I see them watching videos and playing games

Your ER is a joke. I’m not going in to detail of my experience but it wasn’t pleasant. Didn’t even get to see the triage before I walked out. Please, go to Tifton if you need medical help. They are pleasant and they will get you in very fast there.

Absolutely horrible. The nurses don't care and doctor royals will let his patients lay there and about die then send them to Savannah so they have to clean up his mess. Now my mom is fighting for her life because she became septic and in critical condition after he let her lay there for a day on a half with a blockage in her intestines. Also messed up my surgery. Would never recommend this place or the doctor. And what's calling that number gonna do ??? I see so many complaints again him and this hospital and nothing changes. The best thing he did was send her to Savannah he should of done it the moment she walked in the door he knew he wasn't capable of helping her but yet let her suffer and I hope to God she doesn't loose her life because of his neglectful behavior. He sees patients as $

My grandmother showed up to this hospital with sepsis and other ailments from the nursing home she was at. I hadn’t seen her since 2019 and had no idea where she was and no way of finding her. I had googled her name and birthday for years with no luck. These people went the extra mile to find me and I was able to assist in getting her the proper end of life care with Vista Park and Affinis Hospice. She passed this week- but I will forever be grateful for the closure I was able to receive through this process. There are 2 nurses and one doctor in particular who treated my grandmother like family before they knew she had any. She wasn’t just a number- she was treated with dignity and respect. Thank you all again for bridging the gap between her and I, and I pray that God blesses you immensel

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Coffee Regional Medical Center
What does Coffee Regional Medical Center do?
Coffee Regional Medical Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Douglas, GA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Coffee Regional Medical Center?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Coffee Regional Medical Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Coffee Regional Medical Center?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Coffee Regional Medical Center?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
