Sketchy operation. Misrepresented compliance checks. $250 monthly to come in monthly. Last visit, I was told that they do medical NEXUS letters for service members all the time. I was charged $165 for the visit and Dr. Haeger practically laughed at me when I requested one. If he was knowledgeable, he’d known that 60 percent of service members have apnea as a contributing secondary condition do to disrupted sleeping patterns while in war zone. He claims he could never stand up in court and swear to that. It would be dishonest. Meanwhile he’s convicted of fraud for passing used, outdated CPAP machines as new to insurance companies. He’s a high-character guy alright. Just my experience . I hope others have had better experiences.

I have received nothing but kindness and excellent care at the Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center. Dr Haeger is a gracious and caring man and works diligently to solve my sleep problems. I have severe apnea and have been patient of his since 2009. Without the course of treatment that he has provided to me I would be a basket case, unable to have a restful night of sleep. His facilities are warm and welcoming, and when I’ve needed to have a sleep study done, I feel like I am staying at a lovely bed and breakfast (minus the breakfast!)The rooms are decorated beautifully, and it is acomforting and safe environment. I highly recommend Dr. Haeger and his staff

This place has terrible customer service. I called and left 3 messages over a month period to schedule an appointment and still have not heard anything from them . My insurance requires me to see the doctor 30 days after I got my CPAP machine and no later than 90 days. I switched over to Confluence Sleep Medicine and already met with a doctor.

Absolutely incompetent when it comes to billing. I went in and got a sleep study and ended up with a CPAP machine. They signed me up for a service to have periodic supplies sent for the machine and told me my insurance would cover it. Next thing I knew, they had sent me to collections. I paid off the collections, but each time a box of supplies was sent, they automatically sent me to collections again. It's August 2025 and the last communication I got from them was in December 2024. These people are awful. Avoid them like the plague.

My experience with Central Washington Sleep was a good experience from having my sleep study done here in Brewster, I found the staff to be knowledgeable, caring, and very professional put me at ease through it all! Also my follow up appointments that I have from my diagnosis, to receiving my c pap all the staff took the time to ensure I was comfortable with my new c pap machine and called me periodically to make sure I was comfortable with things and to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend them!

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center
What does Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center do?
Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Wenatchee, WA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Central Washington Sleep Diagnostic Center?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
