Asked 3 different times to have my results sent to me and no one got back to me. The sleep study itself was fine. The worker who did my sleep study was very personable. And it was very relaxing. Just wish I could get my results back!!

I took my 7 year old son in last night to the McMurray Location & Jordan greeted us when we came in the door. He was very professional & kind. Explained everything & made sure we both were comfortable and settled after getting my son hooked up to everything. My son & I had an overall good experience. Jordan engaged in age appropriate conversation with my son at all times 🙂 & explained everything to him while putting his monitors on.

It's been a nightmare dealing with this place. Worst customer service with no follow-up or results unless you call constantly like you're a debt collector.... It's been 14 months since I first called them and still dealing with the process. I'm going to now order the machine on my own through my PCP because after another 1-2 months they still haven't called me about ordering it. The problems I've dealt with were from minor to major but constant. Took me 2 months from the start to get anyone to call me back. Study results were never given to me unless called 3 or 4 times bothering them. The day of my overnight stay, I got a call asking to come in 2 hours later because it would help the tech as they'll be in late. no problem. That night I get a call asking where I am and I'm late

i had my sleep study done Dec. 6. after hearing nothing from them after the study i called the natrona heights office about the cpac machine. they didnt return calls, always saying they would. after several calls over 2 months trying to get the much needed machine, i switched to healthcare solutions in butler which got a cpac machine to me within the week of my call. the office staff in natrona heights needs replaced with people who do their jobs.

I would not recommend this place. Their slow to respond to patient needs. The tech who conducted the study has to monitor the patient during their sleep study and my tech seemed put upon to help me in the middle of the night. I feel he had a bad attitude. I was issued a pillow type mask which only fits over your nose. I should have been issued both types of mask so I could further evaluate at home. I feel that the c-pap machine has made my attempt at sleep even worse! I have air hunger issues and I’m supposedly a mouth breather and with this device my air hunger became even worse! I can’t even look at the machine without suffering anxiety which I’ve never had in my life! After I did the study and was ready to pick up the machine I had to wait almost an extra week to pick it up ! Time

What to expect at a sleep study appointment
For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.
Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Center Pointe Sleep Associates
What does Center Pointe Sleep Associates do?
Center Pointe Sleep Associates is a sleep medicine clinic in McMurray, PA that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Center Pointe Sleep Associates?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Center Pointe Sleep Associates directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Center Pointe Sleep Associates?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Center Pointe Sleep Associates?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
