I had an in patient procedure done and had had one in 2023 as well, and the experience and care here is excellent. It's also only about 4 miles from us making the experience very good. W/o details, the preparation is the fun part the day before (guess the experience), and they took very good care thru the experience in the facility. Luckily I have no issues with this, and it is something thing I needed to check on things, so went home w/o any issues. Highly recommend this facility and people for your needs.

I had the absolute pleasure of accompanying my friend to Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, MO today, about an hour’s drive from where I live. We were visiting the imaging department, and even though there was a scheduling mishap that turned out not to be the hospital’s fault, the way the staff handled it made all the difference. When we arrived at the imaging registration desk, we found out my friend’s appointment was not in the system. That kind of news can be stressful, but the two women at the desk immediately stepped in with kindness instead of blame. Rosa, in particular, was outstanding. She listened carefully, stayed calm and friendly, made multiple phone calls, and kept us updated at every step. She never rushed us or made us feel like an inconvenience, and she took ownersh

I give this 1 star as the OR was disgusting, the doctors affiliated outside of the hospital were the reason I was there as they tried to kill me with conflicting medications. If I was rating the Nursing staff this would be a 5 star review! The nurses that took care of me on the 2nd floor were unmatched in their knowledge and their ability to monitor me and make sure I did not die. The ER was fabulous, although a little abrupt, I do understand as they did not understand why I waited so long to come to the ER. I did not realize the magnitude of the situation and I hate being a bother. They continually told me I was on the brink of death and I had a very hard time believing them as I was just throwing up for 2 days. Apparently my levels were insanely off the charts and my low level of potas

spent 3 days in the hospital for a few issues that hit at the same time. The nurses were all nice and was attentive to any assistance I needed. The food was horrible and didn't eat hardly anything while I was there. My friend brought me soup from home. There was no flavor, the vegetables were not cooked well enough and brussels sprouts should not be served because they put a lot of gas on your stomach and not everyone likes them. The meat was dry and very bland. The kitchen could use some work. I was also surprised I was not given any of my normal daily medications that I take and I had to ask for my acid reflux meds because I was starting to have some bad reflux. Was a little irritated that the Dr. took forever to come in. Was told he would be in shortly after I got to my room and he neve

I went to this ER in severe physical distress after an urgent care clinic couldn't help me. The ER was completely empty, so there was absolutely no excuse for the attitude I received. Instead of evaluating me, the doctor was incredibly dismissive and condescending. He completely ignored the fact that my conditions are actively worsening and spreading, told me "we only do emergencies," and asked me "what do you want me to do." He told me to just "call around" to find a specialist, completely ignoring how Medicaid works. Because he didn't want to do the paperwork for a complex case on a slow shift, I was discharged with zero treatment. Total laziness and a complete lack of basic empathy. Avoid this ED.

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Belton Regional Medical Center

What does Belton Regional Medical Center do?

Belton Regional Medical Center is a sleep medicine clinic in Belton, MO that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Belton Regional Medical Center?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Belton Regional Medical Center directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Belton Regional Medical Center?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Belton Regional Medical Center?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
