0 STARS! DO NOT GO TO CORBIN, ESPECIALLY WITH AN EMERGENCY. My fiancé’s primary dr ordered an immediate CT scan and called the hospital, believing her appendix ruptured. After making it into the ER, my fiancé told the guy behind the desk, “I feel like I’m going to die.” His response was “just don’t stress we will get you sometime today hopefully.” Another woman that checked her vitals said “I doubt they’re gonna do much for you here because everything looked normal last week when you were here. They won’t do the CT because it’s a lot of radiation.” They refused to treat her, so we left and went to another hospital. Currently waiting on the provider at London. The only thing this hospital is good for is slapping on a toe tag and wheeling you to the morgue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ER!!!! I promi

This hospital has the most rudest employees!! It’s almost every time I have to go here for something or my husband, family and friends!! The other day my husband came to get bloodwork and before my husband could finish his sentence, the lady at the desk said GO SIT DOWN in a rude voice!! I tried to call to schedule a mammogram and I couldn’t understand the lady. I thought she ask me do I have a bump on my breast and I said no, and she said which one and I didn’t understand. She talked to me in a then louder voice and saying it slower like A Smart Alec. Tell me to hold on and then I just hung up. I absolutely HATE going to this hospital to get anything done. I have stopped using the ER , and some of the affiliated doctor offices because they have to send you here for testing.!!!! I don’t kn

Absolutely HORRIFYING Nurses let my MIL bleed everywhere then her port to IV came out she continued to bleed everywhere- nurse tried to pick up port that had touch the floor back into her IV. MIL is diabetic and even if she wasnt thats very unsanitary- the nurse shouldn't of done that nor roll her eyes and have an attitude because my mil asked her about it. She wasn't comfortable so if she could be discharged against medical advice. I removed her IV and we left. The hospital called her son threatening to call police for a welfare check when she left the hospital without the IV. I understand what the medical industry is like - I am a registered nurse in Maryland. I also understand nurses are understaffed, unappreciated and overworked but we will no longer be going to this hospital becaus

I went into the emergency room on April 8 2026 i was in the waiting room probably 10 minutes and then called me back for vitals right after that I was in a room being seen by the doctor and nurses. Thank you all for being so patient kind and knowledgeable. Great hospital and staff

I did my recovery after S1 through T10 Spinal Surgery. It was a great experience overall. The staff were amazing. I have only one issue and the administration listened to my concern and plans were put into place to address my issue. The only negative thing was the bed. It was so uncomfortable.

For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Frequently asked questions about Baptist Health Corbin Outpatient Sleep
What does Baptist Health Corbin Outpatient Sleep do?
Baptist Health Corbin Outpatient Sleep is a sleep medicine clinic in Corbin, KY that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.
Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Baptist Health Corbin Outpatient Sleep?
Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Baptist Health Corbin Outpatient Sleep directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.
How much does a sleep study cost at Baptist Health Corbin Outpatient Sleep?
Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.
Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?
Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.
How long does it take to get sleep study results?
Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.
Can I do the sleep study at home?
Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.
What should I bring to my appointment at Baptist Health Corbin Outpatient Sleep?
Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
