I did the overnight sleep test. The staff were wonderful. Rosie & Ashley were excellent. 10/3/2025. I had an extreme allergic reaction to the goop/glue that was used all over my head. I went to urgent care & still after 4 days I’m in bad shape .

My visit with Bradley DeKorte for Sleep Consultation was an absolute waste of my time. He told me to use my CPAP machine for longer periods than I am currently averaging. My average usage is 6+ hours per night more than 70% of the month. He wanted to use fear tactics to get me to use the machine more often; he said, “I’m a mandatory reporter and you can get a DUI if you are fatigued while driving”. Are you a lawyer??? A DUI or DWI means you are driving while under the influence of a substance. I wanted to try a different style nasal mask so I can sleep more comfortably. DeKorte said I need to schedule a fitting with A CPAP supply company and they don’t do the fittings at Asante. He gets paid a lot for not providing me with any relevant information or supplies. I won’t be returning

Be careful with these people. I allegedly looked over medicated when they woke me up at 6 am after my study was over. Even though there was no complaint or issue with the staff when I arrived. They suspended my license with no investigation or warning and called me PCP and told her I was over medicated. They also told my Doctor I kept denying a “taxi voucher” or another way home, they didn’t tell my Doc that I told them my Uncle was taking me home. Be careful be careful be careful!

Total waste of time. No follow up to make sure I received my needed equipment and supplies. I finally called a month later and was promised a call back never happened. There supplies are a total disgrace and are impossible to contact by phone. Asante should shut this department down immediately. Again take your needs elsewhere because you will not get them here

If your health is at risk, these people don’t care. My husband has been trying to get his appointment for over a year. He needs a C-Pap machine, and we can’t afford it without our insurance, so we started going through all the medical hoops to get one. We had to go to his primary care doctor, who then referred us to a pulmonary sleep consultant. Who then referred us to the Asante sleep center. We were told it would be 2-3 months before they called us to make an appointment. The sleep center called us 2 weeks later while we were on our honeymoon and never left any message. 3 months after we were supposed to have been given an appointment date, we called to check in. That’s when they say, “We called you months ago, and we do have it on record we never left a message or called again. But it’s

What to expect at a sleep study appointment

For an in-lab study, you arrive in the evening and sleep in a private room while sensors record breathing, oxygen, heart rhythm and body movement. For a home sleep test, the clinic gives you a portable kit you use in your own bed. Neither test is painful. Results are usually compiled into a physician report within one to two weeks, and the clinic then discusses whether treatment — such as CPAP therapy or an oral appliance — is needed.

Preparation basics: avoid caffeine in the afternoon, skip lotions and hair products, bring comfortable sleepwear, and take your regular medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about Asante Sleep Center - Medford

What does Asante Sleep Center - Medford do?

Asante Sleep Center - Medford is a sleep medicine clinic in Medford, OR that evaluates and treats sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Evaluation usually involves a sleep study, and treatment may include CPAP therapy, an oral appliance, or behavioral therapy depending on the diagnosis.

Do I need a referral to book a sleep study at Asante Sleep Center - Medford?

Many insurance plans require a referral or prior authorization before covering a sleep study. Requirements vary by insurer and by clinic, so contact Asante Sleep Center - Medford directly using the phone number on this page and ask what your plan needs.

How much does a sleep study cost at Asante Sleep Center - Medford?

Sleep study costs vary widely with the type of test, your insurance plan and your deductible. Home sleep tests generally cost less than in-lab studies. Ask the clinic for an itemized estimate and check with your insurer about in-network rates before booking.

Does insurance cover sleep studies and CPAP treatment?

Most US insurers, including Medicare, cover sleep studies and CPAP therapy when they are medically necessary and properly documented. Coverage details — deductibles, co-pays and supply replacement schedules — differ by plan, so verify with your insurer and the clinic.

How long does it take to get sleep study results?

Typically one to two weeks. A sleep physician reviews the recorded data and writes a report, after which the clinic discusses the findings and any recommended treatment with you.

Can I do the sleep study at home?

Possibly. Home sleep apnea tests suit many adults with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea and no major heart or lung conditions. If your symptoms are complex or the home test is negative despite strong symptoms, an in-lab study is usually the next step. The clinic can determine which option fits you.

What should I bring to my appointment at Asante Sleep Center - Medford?

Comfortable sleepwear, your photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications, and your own pillow if that helps you sleep. Avoid caffeine after midday and skip lotions or hair products, because sensors attach better to clean skin.
